Hello everyone, and welcome to The Books of Rome. This is a Narrative campaign/let's play, where we are playing as Rome. We start from scratch, and play through every turn till we achieve victory! These campaigns are all about being fun and entertaining. NOT maximising profit.
I use many different historical tactics and strategies, throughout the campaign, from the ancient and modern era. Some of these being Triplex Acies, Wedge tactic and Oblique order.
We are gonna fight many cultures and factions, such as Carthage, Iceni, Egypt, Armenia, Lusitani and Getaea.
This campaign is being played with the Divide et Impera, DEI, mod.

Thank you Toxborg for your videos, I have already installed all the mods and the game works but it is normal that it takes so long to pass the turn (1 minute or so) and it also slows down when there are many units in battle, for this I have lowered the quality graph. (ryzen 7 3700X, 3080TI)

U should try triple your unit size and twitch the game so that u have 80 Units per Army. I push my up to 100 and the battlefield is epic XD

It is sadly quite normal that the turntimers are that slow. This is mainly due to Rome 2 being poorly optimized by CA. DLC campaigns are a lot faster though
