Dear lady... You actually made me very emotional & teary! Watching you for the past 3 years... impactful! The Internet makes this big world so small and it feels so good when you find like.minded people even across oceans. The book that changed my life in the last five years is Start With Why, by Simon Sinek. And guess which smart lady made a review that I saw?! Yep, you did 😘 I should totally make a video response next time and not write a small novel here in the comment section 😂 One last thing: just ordered Crushing It. See you on page 22! ❤️🔛

Books that have made a huge change in the last 12 months are Miracle Morning - Hal Elrod, 5 Second Rule - Mel Robbins, Grit - Angela Duckworth, Start with Why & Find Your Why - Simon SInek, You are a Badass - Jen Sincero and 7L The Seven Levels of Communication - Michael Maher. The rest have taught me lessons but have not had the same impact. I know that is more than one book but it is the combination of these and believe it or not you that has helped me shape a better life for myself. I came to you to learn more about video and then you opened my world to so many other areas. I also bullet journal now lol.

One of my recent and favorite reads - “Driving Miss Norma,” which chronicles the traveling adventures of Ms. Norma as she said “Yes" to living the life she wanted after being diagnosed with terminal cancer...I know, it seems like a heavy subject but truly an inspiring book filled with so much love, joy and examples of how to live a remarkable life to the very end. Congratulations on the anniversary of "Vlog Like A Boss" and being a feature success in Gary's book, the latter is definitely coming full circle!

For The Love Of Sorted I think that's understandable, not everyone is going to start a self sustaining company and move to Thailand. But there are a lot of good themes in the book. About not wasting time, how to set goals and actually move forward on them, things like that. I took a lot of helpful ideas from it.

I’m moving in right now so I’ve been absorbing as much as possible before I start my channel. Thank you so much! You’re just so awesome! I honestly didn’t know about Gary before you, maybe cause I’m 22 and no one around me has the entrepreneurial spirit like I do. Idk lame excuse I was stuck on the college track and wasn’t focused on doing passionate things. You’re my inspiration and I’ve only been on this channel for like 2 weeks.

How you describe this author, is exactly how I felt when I found your channel. I needed a confident, young, female mentor, and your videos have been that for me over the past few weeks. I loved Eat Pray Love as well. I’m currently reading Year of Yes by Shonda Rhimes and it has spoke to me on so many levels. I feel my confidence growing each day. On the social level I can relate to her anxiety and where she created traits in friends that didn’t exist then she had an eye opening experience to see they weren’t who she thought.

Amy - this statement about your book, "I had no idea what it would do to change my life. I think it's a testament to how much we have moved forward with tech...but also how much finishing something you start still plays such a significant role in credibility." - I could not agree MORE with. This is exactly how I have been feeling as I went through a similar journey. I love your book and will continue to promote it! Keep rocking it my friend.

I am impressed at how you manage to be so unapologetically proud of your accomplishment, yet never arrogant and so very thankful of what others have brought you... Thank you for all of your content, tips, recommendations, ... And as a side note, a book that changed my life was the "His dark material" trilogy by Philip Pullmann, in which he managed to talk about the forces and struggles that are driving humanity in such a way that these books are as much adult ones than children ones (as they were published).

Congratulations on the 1 year anniversary of "Vlog Like a Boss", and on being featured in the new Gary V book (a spot that was EARNED through hard work). My opinion.. the lofty, life changing books are great... but the true magic is combining those big inspirationals with a book (or audio, or video) that provides real actionable content that gets into "how", "this is what I did", "here is what to look for in your own journey", or all of the above. That combination is a one-two that is unstoppable. Not for a clone attempt by anyone ... but a realization of your existing skillset, the new skills you need to learn, and a roadmap to get started on your own path. Jumping off a cliff is scary. Jumping blindly is insane. Jumping with someone in your ear to point out what to look for... what cliff has been safe(er)... education about the wingsuit/parachute to use and how and when to pull the ripcord... and a gentle push (LOL) makes the ride down a whole lot more likely to be the rush of a lifetime! The best things in life are just on the other side of fear.... and that little bit of additional knowledge can make all the difference. I havent read "Crushing It" yet (soon), but I will bet dollars to donuts that a great move would be to read the new book ... then read "Vlog Like a Boss" to set the wheels in actual motion (or in my case, relisten to the audiobook). Thanks again for all of your content. You are one of the few educators in this space that balances the big inspirations with practical, actionable knowledge. For another book recommendation... "The One Thing" by Gary Keller. The "focus questions" alone are worth the investment of time and money.

Big Magic - I mean you mentioned Ms Gilbert so you probably met this book too fro her, but to me it was a very important book I had to read and it's still affecting my relationship with creativity and inspiration and productivity. Now I'm adding a few more to my To Read list. I was slightly distant from you and your business tips, like taking it with a grain of salt because as an introvert I don't think any of this is something I can achieve or even if I want to take this huge anxiety and constant inconvenience on myself at all (such as networking) - up until the point you said you are an introvert and then the thoughts you had with networking, and that's when you got my full attention, so I'm gonna read these books too.

I so did this this summer with my second self published book, Under Contract: Life in the Middle of Dreams - a verse novel about a lady pursuing her dreams while still raising a family. I created a photo for my instagram with a birthday sign, streamer, birthday hat, copies of the book, etc. and gave out a party favor of Jeff Goins most recent book, Real Artist Don’t Starve, as a memento for being on his book launch team. I thought a lot about wether or not I should post this comment, but I see a LOT of potential and good content, and not a lot of followers, so.... I’m new here and honestly I love your content, I just don’t think 18 minutes of a video is necessary. I kept on skipping 10 seconds all the time. Usually I watch 6 minute videos. The longer videos I watch are documentaries or TED talks. I really think you could condense everything and send the same message in a shorter time. I wish you all the best and hope to see you grow! There’s a memoir, On Writing, by Stephen King. It was the first book I read in one day because I couldn’t stop laughing and I couldn’t put it down. It really surprised me because I read Salem’s Lot when I was a kid and it scared me for a long time! I didn’t know much about him other than his writing was scary. Mindset by Carol Dweck and Confidence: How Much You Really Need and How to Get It by Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic are awesome books. Btw I´m reading Crushing it! and it´s awesome, so much motivation in one book.

Just found your fun channel recently. Have you read "the subtle art of not giving a f*ck?" It's SO much deeper and insightful than it sounds. My new fav book.

I LOVE YOU and I'm so proud and happy for you! My life changing book was The Dip by Seth Goden. It was a short and blunt read - really made me reflect and got me through some pretty tough times during my career. I remind myself to refer to it whenever I start doubting what I'm doing.❤
