I ran Nidoqueen lead for the last OGL rotation and ran into so many lanturn leads. Queen tanks one Surf and Lanturn can't farm down. One battle vs Lanturn i ended up getting both shields and winning switch with a shield left for myself.

Couldn't help but notice a legend in the 2400s, gatekeeping aces from getting to veteran. I beat up on trainers 600+ below my elo with spicey teams too now that i choose to tank my elo for win rewards, so this is nothing special. I got sick of not being able to get over 2400 because as soon as I get to 2350, I see veterans (which is to be expected since I'm that close to veteran), experts, and sometimes even legends. It's dumb that trainers that are clearly better can tank and play against lesser skill, but it is what it is, so after 1.5 years, I finally gave in and started doing it too.

My game dropped a lot of frames when I was countering down the quagsire and thought they were only at 5 mudshots. They were on the 6 cycle for stone edge.
