You get a shitton of crazy value even if you force to trade, that thing can trade with two completely buffed twilight drakes or with a gigant, and if you manage to attack face even once, the value is insane. Even in the worst case scenario, you force valuable spells of hsi cost or most frecuently more to counter it, so you can play other minions safely

He was the best card compared to what else was available at the time, and even an expansion or 2 after. In virtually every deck in every class. He got the tag Dr 7 for a reason. Got 7 mana, play Dr doom, win game (usually, well some times anyway). The power creep in the last few expansions has been real though so now hes edged out. But with a new mech based expansion.........

Also a big 7 card, while still good just became either too slow, or too weak. It won't do shit against agro because you'll probably die by 6 anyways unless you've got tons of board clears and or healing. It also won't do shit against the late game combo decks who taunt up/heal up, they just focus on a one turn kill combo, they don't care much about your board. Tt won't do shit against the BEEFY late game value decks who have insane levels of late game that they can throw at you, Dr boom won't match value of repeated 8+ drops.

New expansion hype! Ok, so here are some custom cards I created for this new expansion: - Druid Mech 1/1/2 Taunt Choose One: Magnetic, or +1 Health. It's a buff, or a minion! SCIENCE! - 2 Paladin Spell "Group Project": Restore 10 Health for both Heroes. Just a huge heal. Not too bad of a drawback if you play Control vs Aggro. I like the name. You do the group project, your opponent didn't help, but he still gets rewarded. As always. - 2 Hunter Spell "Omega Shot": Deal 3 Damage, if you have 10 mana crystals gain 8 armor. Let's reward Hunters that can survive to turn 10. I like Omega cards. Not so much for Druid tho. - Legendary Priest/Warrior Spell "Battle of endurance": 9 If you have 10-mana crystals, more than 20 Health, played at least 10 minions and dealt no damage this game Destroy the enemy hero. That's a hard task. But if you can survive, play 10 minions that deal no damage, and don't attack you can as well win the game. Anyway I am in love in the theme of this expansion, it feels almost like a Super-Villian type of an expansion. Also check Mecha Jarraxus, he looks so Over the Top, I love him.

Mech Hunter was actually pretty strong in GvG, you flooded the board with cheap mechs and the 2/3 reduce mech cost, and then buffed them with the hunter mech that gives extra attack, it was a little unreliable and not as good as plain face or midrange, but it was more than viable.

For Electra Stormsurge I think it's worth saying that the copied spell will probably have random targeting. This is how the Double Time treasure for Time-Tinker currently functions in Witchwood Monster Hunt. This would make using it for a burst-combo significantly worse and unreliable for any targeted spell. If that's the case, it's still absurdly good tied with Feral Spirit or other summoning spells.

Biology Project: the biggest issue I see is the 2 extra mana crystals are directly usable by your opponent while you have to spend one. Your opponent wins 1 mana over you the turn the card is played. But Big Druid might be fun with this card.

Every expansion previous to Witchwood was $50 for 50 packs, so I'm not sure why people are complaining. It was nice to get the 20 extra packs for one expansion, but Blizzard is in no way required to keep doing that.

Doesn't the battlecry trigger after you play the card? I interpreted that the Omega Defender Battlecry would only trigger if after playing it you still had 10 mana (somehow)

A Question considering the card Biology Project, it phrases "each player gains 2 mana crystals" this means, you don't gain empty mana crystals, so it's actually an Innervate that gives both players 2 more max Mana Crystals right? So if you play this in Turn 1, you can play another 2 drop after that.

I believe the warlock or Mage legendary spell is going to be something like :"Deal 60 damage randomly all across the board." It might kill you it might kill the opponent or clear the board.That will be pretty good.

I hope that one time Blizzard will decide to bring back GvG approach to new expansion by releasing cards from a new expansion into Arena 3-5 days before the expansion launches. Maybe award locked new expansion packs as a reward there, maybe stick to Classic ones.

Biology Project is not only a ramp card, since it is not "gain an empty mana crystal", it actually acts as a pseudo innervate! More curve skipping coming.

Hold up Turn 1 going second Coin, prep, myra's unstable element gives you 9 draws. Of course you also get a timer to then kill your opponent. So I guess that begs the question of how good face rogue is

Wait, what?? Turn 1 going second you'd have 6 cards in your hand (4 from mulligan, coin, and draw at start of your turn). So if you used 3 cards, you'd only get 7 draws from Myra's Unstable Element and then burn the rest of your deck. There would then be the distinct problem of you still only having 2 mana next turn and having done basically nothing turn one. Even if you could conceivably kill them by turn 5 (a big if), you would already have taken 10 damage from fatigue. The opponent would basically just have to go face themselves and they would kill you so quickly.
