Guest Star: Michael B. Jordan (Adonis Johnson from "Creed") His character is an obvious reference to Chris Brown (hence the Breezy in his name and Christianna getting beat = Rihanna getting beat by him). Though honestly, they made Sarah DuBois extra thottish in this series. This was when Aaron McGruder left the show. It was later revealed that the fourth season would be produced without the involvement of the series creator Aaron McGruder. The reason cited for the split between the creator and the company was a disagreement over the production schedule. Needless to say, don't expect too much from this season (except for maybe the Stinkmeaner episode, it was probably the only watchable one there). How the season ended was even worse. It may be Boondocks in appearance, but it's not the same without Aaron's work and love. In any case, about the subject of this episode. It kind of has to do with a bit of the whole Alpha Male personality going on with Tom and Sarah. She wanted him to be more Alpha-minded, but in alot of ways, Tom was kind of a straight-laced to the point where he was just the nice guy all the time with his wife.

you know what’s interesting about this this season? it’s actually some fire episodes here even with aaron mcgruder gone. i remember looking in the credits after the season ended and of course all the episodes i fucked with the most were written by rodney barnes (aaron mcgruder’s writing partner). “freedom ride or die” “freedomland” “the new black”

What I found interesting was in checking out the production codes on Wikipedia showed that every episode of this season was released out of order. So if you watch this season how it was released, there's seemingly no conclusion to the debt arc.

Sad Fact: In 2014 Aaron McGruder left the adult swim program because he had a fall out with Sony Entertainment, he was working on another show called "Black Jesus" on the exact same network. Due to successful ratings for Seasons 1, 2, & 3, the executives want McGruder to come back with season 4; however, he cannot provide it to them at that moment as the program stated; "a mutually agreeable production schedule could not be determined." Which also means he could not work at that level of pace and because of time constraints. It's announced that McGruder would not be involved in the show's fourth season run. That season premiered on April 21, 2014 and ended it's run on June 23, 2014. Needless to say...... It's trash.🤦‍♂️

Season 4 was honestly decent. But it was also the shortest season so there weren't enough episodes to really go back and talk about. You only had 10 to choose from instead of the original 15. Honestly season 4 is by far the weakest of the bunch but Rodney Barnes would've made it better if he wrote most of them.
