Huey is the smartest and best kid in the series because the creator intends him to be one, and Huey lives hard, tries hard, works hard, and prepares himself hard for the survival of the best brown black race youth among all people, he is fighting a battle against the world political issues and many unspeakable problems that the creator knows the best, in my personal theory, maybe before his bio parents passed away, his mom as a black revolutionary activist and a smart leader who really care about the black community, his dad is a positive optimistic housekeeper who encourages good influences, so that makes Huey becoming so smart, so good, so superior and so rightful for living.

But sometimes Butt whipping doesn't work in expectation for Huey and Riley, Huey is a better and superior boy in fighting, he has no remorse for his actions, and role strong enough to suffer abuse and pains, but still, he learns how to prevent himself from suffering and cause many things from happening; on the other hand, Riley is the opposite, he can fear and scare of pains and hurts, but since he accepts his identity, those influences give him confidence and bravery of blindness, so he rather does dare things instead of being a good kid in general, he refuses to learn and take the lessons because of how his peers and few of the community act to make him that way.
