Never heard of Avian Supplies before - and they're within easy driving distance for me! Just a thought: having browsed their website, I see they have a product called Antiestrés, to calm birds' nerves when setting off for shows. I wonder if something like that would have helped your hens when the building started next door. Answers on a postcard, I suppose...

It’s great that you’ve found Avian Supplies Uncle!!👍👍. They’re a good company and Darren will do everything he can to help out. What you’re suggesting seems to make sense, I think I’ll investigate that!

You're going well Andy 🎉 as for the hens that is fighting with the cock, I had it happen a few times over the year, and I find that the hen is most likely pair at a cock somewhere in the shed. I had a hen last year that I tried with 3 different cock's but found out later she paired to a cock 2 cages away, when I put them together all eggs after where full (wish I could say the same this year). Best of luck in the rest of the season.

Hey David. Yes picked up a tad after disastersous start. I think you've hit the nail mate - there's a Fife cock bird on the level with the hen. I bet she's "paired" with him!!
