However, according to the plot of the story it is normal to accept this kind of dominance and abuse and view it as romantic gestures. WHICH IS NOT OK (and which also does not happen in reality btw). It's a show for kids who take the protagonists as role models. Especially nowadays where we fight hard for equality this kind of influence is a setback.

❗Wow this is just abuse, saw this recommended in yt and I want to clarify the difference between love and abuse. When a girl or guy love someone, that doesn't automatically equate being tolerant of your actions that are hurtful and fricking pretend like that person who likes you or have a crush on you will forget about it and will still love you. That's plain stupid. Hated how they gave ideas of how romance can be revolved around cold characters mistreating the girl, the girl will eventually forgive him easily, and will still fall for him. Girls (also all genders) are not material things that you could just play, throw, and take it back. This drama literally speaks out how it's okay to have men being abusive to girls as long he's rich, handsome, powerful, and everything will cut it. Its abuse because he intentionally physically and emotionally damaged her by not even having a decent mutual respect on her as a human being. Hope they change the way romance should really reflect on dramas so that people wouldn't take this as a right way especially for those who haven't experience relationships. The guy is not even flirting or casual teasing, it's literally abuse. Felt like the ML is such an immature spoiled brat. Yes the title and clip speaks volumes and draws you in too see what happens. However it is very clear no one in the comments has seen this show. Yeah we get what he did was wrong and no sane soul should fall for the guy that abuses them blah blah blah🙄we all get that. Him "making" her wear that is the only thing he did to her. THE only thing through the whole drama. He didn't power trip or abuse her at all. Come to think of it, he didn't even force her too wear it🤔His assistant said he didn't say anything and that he might feel ashamed. Let him loose face in front of his friends, atleast you keep your dignity as a mother. And to be clear, she damn well had a choice. She hadn't worked in 7 years, she could have walked away but didn't. Her son was just fine with his dad for the time being, there was no rush. Him asking about her self respect is very much justified. He didn't say she'd get fired. All that running around she did and staying up late, was on her own accord. Yes too keep her job but all she had to do was ask his pervious assistant. And as the boss he had set needs and requirements that needed to be met and for anyone that was willing to fulfill it, kept their job. This show is at best 6 out of 10 maybe even a 4. I went in thinking I was going to tear him a new one while watching because of the comments. It was a slap in the face and a snooze fest. Meh and boring. This clip was episode 1 and went down hill after that. How about we talk about her not mentioning she had a kid after they got into a relationship. Or about the kid being in all of 2 episodes out of 16. It was as if she almost forgot she had a kid. Yeah she worried about him finding out but that was the least of her worries it seemed like. Keeping her job seemed to be more important. Again the child was fine at his fathers, just look for another job. The president was a fluff. He is a kid, 23 and she's 29. She's been married and divorced, she knows right from wrong. Their love is innocent and childish🥱 Needless too say I'll never watch this again and anyone wanting to write off the drama because of this clip and because of the comments are seriously disturbed. Yall have no back story or story going forward and are ready to hunt him down with pitchforks. All I can say character wise and how he was written, he's easily top 1% of ml that treat fl right🤷‍♀️

Don't judge the drama by this particular segment. My Dear Lady tells a story of a young mother forced to struggle to earn her own living in a terrible job market after being abandoned by her cheating husband and losing custody of their son. @@stargoddess28 for some reason the newer dramas always have the male leads as professionals in medicine and portrayed as rich and far more privileged than the female lead, it's concerning at times since it's a power trope used as a way to blame the female lead if she rejects such a "promising bachelor" saying that she would never be able to find anyone better and always portray the characters as monolithic. The plot (if we can even call it that) for some of these dramas are so predictable that it's quite unbearable at times. Also, the villainess is always portrayed as someone with a hyper feminine personality and the director never goes into depth within such characters and then get thrown away once the leads finally decide to get together.
