The Botafumeiro at the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral

This was filmed on July 28, 2023, at the 12:00pm Mass at the Santiago de Compostela Cathedral in Santiago, Spain. The Botafumeiro swung for the pilgrims of the Diocese of Lafayette-in-Indiana, who had just finished walking the Portuguese Way of the Camino de Santiago.

At one time I guess there were a lot of unwashed pilgrims who had tremendous body odor making this giant incense burner necessary.
