We're back renovating again lol, I just can't seem to help myself, this series has me all kinds of inspired. We take on this gorgeous Scottish Bothy today and turn it into a rustic yet modern retirement pad. I hope you like it!

I love the bothys in Northern Ireland, last year my dad bought a boat (not anything special but perfect for us) and we took to an island called salt Island in the Strangford lough northern Ireland and we stayed in the bothy. It was truly magical and cozy and the nights were so quiet and peaceful with the tides crashing against the rocks. Bothys always have a soft spot in my heart. Love this aden!

That’s so interesting. I’d always thought Bothys were like a gardener’s shed (I’m in Australia, so not something I’ve personally seen). Love this series (Yes, I’m several years late, but it’s gorgeous). Having a very rough time, so these will keep me company in the middle of the night.

This little Bothy would be so welcoming anywhere on the East Coast where there are many mountainous regions that begin in Georgia and go all the way up to Canada. such lovely renovation! actually there is an architecture.. movement where it is ideal to salvage the natural materials around the place of the construction, actually while you said something about it I remembered a Mass design group Ted talk about it! I totally recommend it :D
