you probably aren't sampling a colour, just click on the haze on the colour range and it should work

You're amazing and I love your tutorials. But sometimes you need to explain certain steps. I couldn't get the bottle to look like yours in the color range screen. Mine was deep black with white outlines. it took me 30 minutes to realize that you had quickly clicked on the bottom on the main screen with the dropper tool. Once I did that it worked. Anyway, I'll pay attention to your quick moves from now on, but It might be nice to throw some onscreen words on certain parts. Thanks for your amazing work!

Im trying to make the same manipulation you did and when i get in the part of the bottle that i have to in select- color range the little square of the bottle is all black and yours there is a shape of the bottle in all white. (dont know if u could understand)

I had the same problem.When you’re done with the steps to make the bottle transparent you should delete the layer below the smart object (bottle).Than it should appear.

I love this tutorial but as I am a stickler for details, I just wanted to mention that because the bottle is round, the water's surface on the left side of the bottle would've curved as well (as if following the round sides of the bottle) instead of continuing in a straight line. hi, I just found out how you can do it. I have Photoshop CC 2018 so I don't know what version you are but I think you are going to find it. First open Photoshop and then find the option: windows which is at the application menu( left -> up menu), then click the workspace option and finally select 1)Photography: if you want hologram and navigator(the thing you want) and 2) painting: if you want navigator and brushes. I hope I helped!!!

Change the color palette at the bottom left to both white. I had same issue where mine was on black. Hope this helps!
