Very touching seeing him open up. Glad we're in an age where addiction, mental illness and other formerly "taboo" things are no longer such stigmatized secrets. They shouldn't be. Ricky Bell of New Edition also had a serious opioid addiction (unbeknownst to me!) and nearly died of an OD. A lot of "functioning addicts" walking around out here that are in just as much trouble as those who are more obvious. Happy healing!

Thank you for sharing....I so understand about addiction. I had exes both in full addiction for years and became their enabler and co-dependent. My life was filled with chaos, abuse, and uncertainty with them. I put my children through a lot staying with their father...but God!🙏🏻🙏🏻 After many years of the insane cycle, and a church home I grew spiritually closer to God, I finally became a new creation... Thank you Jesus for Celebrate Recovery for making me healthy minded and strong enough to love me. I am now single and pray for my exes. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I believe in recovery and know it's not just for addiction but everyone that has overcome in all aspects of dealing with addiction in the family unit...🙏🏻🙏🏻😔 I am in life recovery....ODAAT (One Day At A Time)...💪💪😎 Love the podcast... blessings!!😁😁

It’s unbelievable how we set ourselves up . It’s trauma from our childhood and also I think generational trauma . It a lot of work to get out of that mindset but it’s so so difficult but you can do it ! We love you and can’t wait to see you on stage !

Thank you for this candor, hope, hope, hope. 31 YEARS! Congrats! 6 months--CONGRATS . Esp loved the honesty about how in the journey to recovery people can be pulling the wool over their own eyes...looking like they're playing the part, doing the part, but inside, scamming...themselves. Until they believe they can really do it. And do.

Exactly what “BRIAN” needed! He is seeking help. Him talking and not listening wouldn’t have been beneficial for him. Something about James Voice that is soothing! Wishing Brian the best!

Feel bad for Bryan..wrong choices in life can send everything off the rails. The distance he’s fallen from the other Bryan from 90s is staggering. It’s going to take a lot of work for him to get on his feet, but I got faith in him

Dear Bryan Abrams, I send you my healing energy and you are in my prayers daily.. here’s my thoughts on the subject of drinking & smoking.. If people knew what smoking did to their system, they wouldn’t even start smoking because of smoking detrimental affects on the human anatomy.. Vices such as Smoking and drinking go hand in hand because when one drinks at times not all the time as there are a percentage of people who smoke after a few drinks.. the affects on the human anatomy of those who smoke when drinking are that much detrimental as drinking and smoking have toxins which can cause various affects, such as dehydration etc.. there are more affects these vices have on the human anatomy the list goes on.. I say in order to not feel bad the next day.. drink water which hydrates you.. eat good foods vegetables etc.. think of the human anatomy in these terms.. when you eat-drink things like what I mentioned in the previous sentence (drink water for hydration and consumption of vegetables etc) your system will run better as you are feeding yourself with good nutrition.. also this aspect from another angle.. treat your body as a Temple.. as your spirit will benefit from things such as walks in nature, (air, trees, water.. beach etc) surround yourself with people who have a good attitude and acts of kindness as you’ll be blessed by the universe, because the more good energy you send to others the universe will give you many good things blessings in your life.. I say live life be happy as life’s too short.. -Laura Valentina & guide Dog Rolf

I like the song "That's The Bottom Line" who sings it? or just the theme song for the show.

If I had one of the greatest pop singers of the 90s in an interview I would talk less but it's still an interesting conversation that will probably help a few people.

Dude, you talk too much. You don’t let your guest speak. I can pause and fast forward and play, and it’s you talking 9 out of 10. Not good
