Definitely the best episode of all three seasons so far . Frank is tv gold . That Capt is on a different playing league . All day watching fish shows and he is just that great to watch . His voice , his personality, his honesty is so endearing . I believe he is the best of best . Sometimes watching other fishing shows it seems just bullshit . Frank pulled out secrets and just small mannerisms that’s set him apart as a real captain . I don’t get that feeling from deadliest catch or wicked tuna . This guy needs his own crew to follow him around . Absolutely love him!!!

Grew up catching these here in NC, except here they are known as grey trout. Between greys and speckles, I prefer speckle trout. The meat seems firmer to me, and to me the grey has a different taste. Not bad, just, different. My dad and I would keep a few and fry them up for breakfast every morning when we were working on boats.

We're almost to the Inshore Slam season (late September- December) trophy Redfish, big gator Speck trout, doormat Flounder and GNARLY 4+lb sheepshead. Seen them up to 9lbs at Mount Pleasant Pier. Look up local fishing guru Jiggin' Jerry he would be more than happy to get you guys started. I'd pay good money to see y'all cover my area. Y'all did Savannah river and I was excited but sad to see y'all miss out on so many opportunities. Try the Old Santee river and Lake Marion for big mondo blue cats. Lake Moultrie and Ashepoo river for giant flatheads.
