There's a lot of things to be considered here that people should realize. Understandable how people are upset over Ness winning, but online is different than offline. Now, it's not to discredit BestNess whatsoever. BestNess is such an incredible player off/online. Top 64 in the world, continuing to show Ness' strength, and providing skills. He just has a better advantage online, something what other PGR players don't have on. It's why Samsora, MkLeo, or other members aren't taking these wins easily. Online has input delays, and many precise moves / accurate inputs can't be easily imputed. It's why Leo hasn't used Joker for these tournaments, or Samsora not making sick combos online. Overall, we shouldn't discredit anybody because of online. Tweek did a fabulous job this tournament, and there's nothing to be ashamed of. He got 3-0'd from a territory he's not too familiar with. Just because BestNess had an advantage online, doesn't mean he's carried with Ness like that. My mans has proven that Ness has so much potential and power.

11:26 Juicy. Bestness is legitimately a good player. Last time he used that up air drag down setup (7:46) he did grab back throw to kill at that percent. He conditioned Tweek to spot dodge to avoid the grab and called that out with the yo-yo. Genuinely intelligent play, not solely gimmicks. As a shout-out to tweek’s ability as a player, watch 13:16. He was super over that sh*t and faired out of the aerial PK fire the third time to avoid dealing with that 50/50. It’s presumable that very few people have ness experience of this high of a level; it’s visible that Tweek was learning as he went. It is really impressive how quickly he learns and that he picks a new option the very first time something undesirable happens.

I think that he meant that the people that go out of their way just to say that BN is only good online (not that it's not true, he has had some good results but clearly never as good as the recent ones hes gotten) are "losers". And I kinda agree, most of the comments I've read pointing that out seemed uncalled for. Either way, when the normal tournaments come back, the results will speak from themselves.

Ness is a pretty decently good character. The thing is that wifi has to be taken in consideration. Input lags and frame changes in comparison from offline and online. A solo Ness is less likely to win an offline match, but guaranteed a better spot online.

hes definitely gotten a lot better. yes ness plays very differently online, but comparing BN gameplay from even a couple months ago is very different and hes improved so much off and online. imo he hasnt won many tournaments bc he makes mistakes and goes for ballsy plays, but hes really improved!!
