Why are they so underrated? They deserve more recognition! What an iconic band!

ive been a fan of the boxer rebellion since exits and dont understand why they are not massive, maybe this album will do it
@abrahamgs8 жыл бұрын
+chris galloway I was wondering the same exact thing, but you know what, i rather 3 real fans at their concerts than a bunch of newbies posers wannabe's fielding "shalala" choruses
@garyrun38338 жыл бұрын
i get what you mean... but they've never been and hopefully never will be massive...because they have been and continue to be original...which is the reason your still a fan..I feel massive just equals the opposite unoriginal that tunes easily into the masses...so let's not hope they become this...but like I said hehe I get what you mean...I've thought as much about many bands
@pavelbalcarek79007 жыл бұрын
That's because this music has way more to offer than traditional "meh" mainstream. It requires you to listen carefully, let yourself dive deep into beautiful wall of sound full of echoes and reverb and feel it. Personally for me this is one of the best bands in entire world.
@dfmn86506 жыл бұрын
They didn’t become massive because it’s too reminiscent. Sounds like a combo of U2, Coldplay, Radiohead... And enough bands combined those bands sound ten years ago. These guys are good but their sound is almost indistinguishable. Could be one of many bands.

The intro scared me a bit and I was like "Oh no....what have they done?" But I was THOROUGHLY relieved. I like that they've experimented but still managed to keep their sound. Can't wait for the full album to come out in April and I can't wait to FINALLY see you guys in Europe!!!

I wouldn't agree this one should be a first-single kinda song, but we can't deny they actually did a great job experimenting with new sounds. I don't think I've heard anything like this before.

Love all their work up to and including Promises with Diamonds from that probably being my favourite song of all. Didn't like this stuff on first hearing but after recently returning to it its grown a bit on me. Still don't think its as good as the mostly Guitar driven albums before this which makes copious use of synths. 6/10 would be my rating wheras Promises rated 7.5/10. Hopefully will continue to grow on me.
