I'm finally back with a new video! It's been a few months, but I hopefully get around vidding more often now. I have some collabs planned and I also started working on my Top 5 Ships Project, yay!
So I was at the Friends Fest and I got soo inspired again! I was sitting in the train listening to Saturn by Sleeping at Last and suddenly this quote popped up and I had this idea... I changed the song halfway through the video though, oops. I just thought this would work better and I didn't feel the song anymore. So I changed it. But I finished this within a day though. I just changed some scenes and stuff yesterday and today.

I always just headcanon that post-canon Ross and Rachel break up pretty quickly, because they still can't make it work as a couple, and with Monica and Chandler not living across the hall from Rachel and Joey anymore, Rachel and Joey grow even closer. And things develop. That being said, I still think the show should have just left it open ended when it comes to Ross, Rachel and Joey, actually emphasizing that the show was about the friendships and not the romances.

@@yawix7400 I know you weren't asking me, but for my two cents: his moral point of no return was trying to secretly stay married to Rachel. Everything before that (even the "break") was an opportunity to grow as a person. After the "break", he could have taken the high road with Rachel and she'd have (hopefully) seen it for the culmination of bad communication that it was. Honestly, I think Emily was being the unreasonable one regarding names said at the altar (he was wrong to say it, but she could have also worked with him to move on). But after his refusal to get an annulment... Damn! The constantly leaving Mona in the dark about Rachel and the pregnancy developments (running out on the movie, not telling Mona up front about the living situation). Freaking out on Joey, who was actively trying to follow the "bro code". Freaking out over miscommunication re: a proposal. Actively hiding messages for his roommate (which does not translate to "girlfriend"). Spying/freaking out about Rachel's kiss with Gavin , to the point he brought a crazy lady (who now knows where he lives) to his home with his infant daughter. After meeting and connecting with the person who really could be his soulmate (Charlie, and sidenote: is there any case where Aisha Tyler isn't great?!), he STILL freaked out on Joey and Rachel's relationship (Again!!) And he full-on threatened Rachel's old boss to get her job back. Everything before the non-annulment; honestly, they were all "two to tango" situations. Everything after; Rachel should have filed for a protective order. So why not hate him?

@@yawix7400 You'll never hear me say Rachel didn't make mistakes. But that was her character arc; she went from a spoiled, sheltered girl to a capable woman. It was an uneven journey to be sure, but that's just a problem with American television writing in general. But I would argue that the last minute return to Ross did far more to break Rachel's character. She had outgrown the guy who was still in love with an idea from high school by the midpoint of the series. At the same time, Joey was also growing as a character. While nobody would argue he was some super genius; he'd learned to be responsible around Emma (you don't have S-E-X with a B-A-B-I-E), and he went from throwing away money on his first stint on Days of Our Lives to saving well enough on his second run to write two reasonably hefty checks for Chandler and Monica. Your English is outstanding, btw.

This is so beautiful I can't stop watching this video 😭😭 My heart ❤ I love Roey in my head this is how it ended! The poem is so fitting for how Joey fell in love with Rachel! She really did bring direction, beauty, and meaning to his life! She is his comet ❤ I refuse to believe she ended up with Ross, I understand she had his baby, but he could still be in the baby's life, and she could still have ended up with Joey! Joey was so perfect for her! ❤ The way Ross was telling her the kind of guy Rachel should be with was exactly the way Joey felt about her! 😭❤
