They take unique and dark riffs of the concepts of Superman and are in actuality more like villains than heroes or even anti-heroes. As for power, the alien race of Omni-man are far superior than humans even the super-powered ones from the Boys. Homelander might have the advantage in different abilities but Omni-man quite literally takes everything else and by a lot. To give a hint at the differences in power, Homelander is more of a threat to a city if he unleashes his powers for that purpose while Omni-man has the threat to destroy a planet even if over time.

I kinda like the contrast between Homelander and Peacemaker’s outfits and personalities, like the red and blue gloves, blue and red clothes, gold and silver hair/helmet, then you have “doesn’t care about anything except personal gain” and “is willing to do anything for peace but is easily misguided”. Total opposites, yet still they kinda sorta get along in a weird way, specifically in their intro talking about the deep and aquaman I don’t really have any conclusions to draw from this but I like the contrast between them

I've never seen The Boys but I like Homelander! They even went so far as having unique dialogue against Kenshi for how he killed the blind guy since he's blind too!
