I just thought of something, way back in episode 1 Huey had his imaginary blow up, where he said that all he wanted was for someone to look him in the eye and tell him that they were sorry. Here he got that from Starlight. She said she was sorry and she hugged him. She might not have had anything to do with Robin, but she is a supe, and from Vought. I think that is yet another instance where she started saving Hughie from turning out like Butcher.

This episode shows why Vought does what it does, besides the money, Vought trumpets the idea that the Supes are gods that walk among us. We heard Stillwell in Episode 2 call Homelander a god. If the Supes are gods that walk among mortals, and Vought controls the supes they are more powerful than the gods. It is definitely a power trip for the company, and probably for the executives. Hopefully we will see more of that idea about Vought in season 2.

Honestly Steven, for a year I have been wanting to start my own Reaction/Teaching Danish channel , and I have been postponing it because “I dont have the time, how do I find time to edit and film, school and what about the kids bla bla” and I always end up thinking “Girl, if STEVEN can find time to work, family life, react, edit, hobbies, then so can you”. It's because hes extremely selfish, he shows this multiple times throughout the show, in lying to hughie at the start about being FBI and to mothers milk when he tells him frenchie isn't involved..... basically anything to get what he wants, and here too with the tombstone because his pain and anger is more important to him than anyone elses, there are other examples too that I wont mention for spoiler reasons.... but yea hes definately a flawed character which is part of what makes him so compelling 🙂

Black Noir is like the Batman of this series. Except instead of just being a peak human he is superhumanly strong and fast, but only like 2-3x as fast and strong as a normal human. So he's not on the level of A-train or Homelander or even Maeve, but he's not just "I workout every day" strong. Aside from that he's really stealthy and skilled with a vast amount of weapons. There's more to him as well but that would be spoiler territory, if they even follow remotely close to the comics in that regard.

Everything in this episode was crazy as shit. We saw a baby used as a weapon, Homelander and Stilwell's bizarre Oedipus like relationship and the female is the team's Wolverine. Plus now you know where superheroes really come from. Which means you know Vought's dirty little secret. But you still don't know everything yet. This shit only gets crazier. And I reiterate, Homelander is the best villain on television.

Last episode, Homelander was going to rescue the plane until he just got sloppy with his laser vision. (I say sloppy becse we saw him display pinpoint en he fused the robber's gun to his hand in episode 1 and he lasted the terrorist in the cabin in the chest without punching through him.) After he destroyed the controls (though the co-pilot's side should've still been working), Homelander gured the physics and decided a partial rescue wasn't epic enough a save for him. That's when he decided to spin "arriving too late" into a narrative of vengeance and the need for suoes in the military.

Homelander is extremely lazy, he is super strong and invincible, but he prefers to use his laser vision. He also, sees himself as above normal humans, which if you really look at his expression on the plane, he was actually eager to let all those people die.
