i have two theories about why Victoria won't show Homelander a nose bleed, or even tries to pop Homelander. The obvious theory is she can't. The second one is, she knows Homelander doesn't see her as a threat. He sees soldier boy as a threat, and he is losing his shit. If she threatened him like she did to Starlight, he would probably go after Victoria because she is a threat to Homelander. Or worse. He would go after her daughter, the one she is constantly switching sides to try and protect.

Neuman can't blow homelander's head up because he's too strong. That's why she didn't try. Homelander is stronger than soldier boy who got shot in the mouth by an AR with no effect which means homelander's inside is as strong as his outside. Unlike translucent.

I feel like she can, BUT it would take a lot more effort and time than normal. For instance, when she talked/threatened Starlight in the last episode, when she told her “It’d be really tough to take out America’s sweetheart, but not impossible” I think she was literally testing out how hard it would be in that moment to kill her, hence the nosebleed that we saw when Neuman left. We know how durable Starlight is too, she’s taken rifle shots to the chest and been thrown through marble pillars and never even bled from that, so I’d assume her durability is pretty high too, but Neuman knows she wouldn’t be able to take that much time against Homelander because as soon as he felt it happening he would kill her. But I don’t believe that means she technically couldn’t do it, she just wouldn’t be in a position to have that much time

I think it's leading to Butcher and Hughie taking the original formula V. While the series is a lot different than the comics, it's worth noting that in the comics, ALL The Boys had the blue V injection- in something like 90% of people, it just makes them tougher and they get super strength. In the comics, it's the only way a person could hope to survive fighting a super.

The choice would be whether to have it removed and replaced - assuming a replacement was available - and whether you (or rather him) would accept no longer being a Supe anymore because said replacement would almost likely not be a Supe heart.

That's probably because (.....as some of my British friends have pointed out), Kiwi Karl Urban's ''Michael Caine Cockney' accent attempt ......is........something........not quite there..... or Cockney. Most of the time. But then again it's one of the hardest or harder English regional accents to get correct if you're not from that specific region. Apparently a lot of the time you can hear his Kiwi accent slip in (as you can with Anthony Starr's Homelander). I can't tell Cockney from Kiwi from Scouser,......like most non-Brit/non-Aussie/Kiwi audience and constitutes most of the viewers of this show.

Uhhh just want to say, not necessarily a spoiler or anything but with The Boys comics, when people die, they definitely stay dead 😬 The comics aren’t continuous and long lasting like Marvel, so they don’t bring people back because the story lines are meant to end. But I don’t see Butcher getting permanent powers, that’d defeat the whole point of his character creating ‘The Boys’ in the first place, he literally hates Supes and started the group because he doesn’t believe anyone should have that much power. Hughie is a different story.. yeah he joined The Boys but he did so out of revenge for Robin, but obviously he loves having power. I think Butcher truly sees it as a means to an end in the goal of killing Homelander but doesn’t actually love being a Supe
