5:00 they didn't white washed that Native American, because the "Crying Indian" actor (Espera Oscar de Corti) was Italian descent and not native American. He lied trough his whole life. So it was quite accurate to put a white actor pretending to be Native American.

@screencrush The crying Indian in the litter ad was not native American. He was Espera Oscar de Corti. A man of Italian descent who played a lot of native Americans on screen. He was already white washed and that was the point of them using it.

I didn't catch that until I read this. Not just a slightly different form of teleportation but it's all awkward and apologetic and confused. They're both nice people at heart but they can't ever express it properly. Could also be the fact that taking Temp V is like jumping instantly into the depths of an acid trip with no experience but the things you're feeling actually manifest in reality. Thus awkward and confused use of powers that were designed to be learned throughout childhood.

Compound (temp) v gives a person their secret desire type of power. Kimiko has healing powers because of her trauma and fights when she was held captive by the human trafficking group and of course she may not mentally heal, her body does after every fight. Butcher gets homelander powers because it’s his desire to beat him, Hughie gets teleportation because he’s very non confrontational and always feels like he has to get away, Hughe gets phasing powers because he acts barely fazed by life and negative problems. The sheep in ep 5 became predators considering that it’s ironic of sheep to be the aggressors. The bunny that died and had the tentacles coming out shows that temp v gives cancer and I guarantee those tentacles were a form of what’s in butcher. I dunno but just what I noticed…

Sage is definitely up to something. She is supposedly the smartest human on the planet, so I can't imagine that she isn't playing 3 dimensional chess all the time: thinking several moves ahead and even planning alternate moves depending potential variables of others. She maintains a close working relationship with Homelander, potentially to keep him close and to be able to manipulate him (after all, his mommy/acceptance issues are easy to spot by non-supes). If she really is the smartest human, she has to see that his unchecked power has disastrous consequences and is probably preparing for a confrontation at some point.

Interestingly, you mention Starlight’s poster-girl image for Evangelicalism when she seems to be a Catholic. If she’s not a Catholic, she’s probably well-versed in the denomination’s culture, as she deduced Frenchie’s Catholicism by looking at his cross. The scene’s message implies she’s a Catholic.

Remember, people thought Hughie imagined his mom Daphne for several reasons, yet we see Daphne interacting with a couple doctors which hallucinations can not do. This especially becomes more apparent when these doctors explicitly say Hughie's mother was responsible for the DNR protocol. Taking this in consideration, we've never seen anyone interacting, let alone acknowledge, Joe Kessler's existence at all. Him opening a door could be Butcher himself imagining that or be Butcher since, despite this, no one seems to acknowledge him.

I usually like Hughie but this episode has me really not like him as a person. I get the episode is about him letting go of his Dad, but his sensibilities cause so much needless death. It makes me not root for him as the unjustifiable death was made me root for him joining the boys. I get it's The Boys, but we see so much difference in A-Trains arc. He's a bad person becoming a caring one. When Hughie would be a decent person that is turning to a bad one.

You forgot about in the last scene with the doctor with the severed leg, the way the doctor looked in Jeffery Dean Morgan's direction (but not exactly) questioningly, as if he wasn't there. Kessler is definitely a hallucination brought on if not a manifestation of Butcher's tumor.

Hilarious that both Heavy Spoilers and this channel didn't know that in the original Keep America Beautiful ad that the actor wasn't a real Native American, he was Italian. Vought is just doing what was actually already done, just more explicitly.

@@Eccentric_CharlieHollywood dgaf. They cast obviously white people as Indians (or anyone else) all the time. Guys in body paint and feathers doing fake Indian accents and their Brooklyn accent is coming through, kind of stuff. The interesting thing about Cody is that all the white people in Hollywood thought he was an Indian, and so did many of the Indians he worked and lived with. There were rumors, but in those days they couldn't go far, and he wasn't really outed until after he died and his family showed his birth records.

@@blairhoughton7918 you're also watching a youtube video that gives you a recap of things that all take 20 seconds to google just like the people who made this video did. Don't fault people for choosing an easier source of information than research when a simple recap is much easier. I'm fairly sure you still buy butter from the store when you could easily raise goats or cows and milk them and then churn the butter yourself. You could probably research any meaningless bit of information quickly. But you must decide some things are worth just not caring about although you're interested and you let other people fill in the blanks.
