Yes, she is still in shock because her secret was revealed and how she messed things up with Huey, and also because Firecracker wants to take revenge on her, but this is the Deep, it's a perfect opportunity to develop Starlight and satisfy the audience by killing him. Because as we know, The Deep is the reason for everything that happened to Starlight, and with her revenge, she will be able to confront Firecracker and mend her relationship with Huey.
