There are so many small things in this video that, I guess, are Canadian culture that I just know and just getting them is always really cool. Like the fly ride at wonderland, I completely that ride existed, until it was brought up, I remembered riding it. Same when they mentioned YTV being Chanel 25, I completely forgot I knew that fact. Also as someone who has had the French language forced down my throat for as long as I can remember, their French speaking hurt (when Kevin said «je suis mange le pain» it would translate directly as « I am eat the bread » the correct way would have been « je mange la pain »

I'm not even a fan of the boys but I just came from watching them on dive studios so this showed up on the recommended feed and as a fellow Canadian I've got to say I really enjoyed this video. Also, I love how you did the lyrics when Kevin was playing O'Canada on the piano 🤣

I’m so glad that they both were able to debut together! I imagine it would be a bit harder to debut in a new country where no one can relate with u with nostalgic things, but they have each other to lean on ☺️ Their connection and seeing them talk about Canada is so cute! 🥹💕

I really enjoyed this! I grew up in Toronto and now live just north of the city in Richmond a stone's throw from Canada's Wonderland so everything they spoke of was very familiar for a change. Oh and those milk bags? They're about 1 1/3 L each and fit in a plastic pitcher (called a holster) that is designed especially to hold a bag... you just snip a corner of the bag and that makes your pour spout. The plastic gallon jugs they had before took up a lot of room in a fridge and very heavy and awkward to pour from, especially when first opened. But the official reason why they changed to the plastic bags is: Canada's conversion to the metric system in the 1970s meant dairy producers needed to replace and resize existing milk containers, which were measured in imperial quarts. Retrofitting assembly lines or replacing heavy glass bottles was an expensive prospect for the milk industry, and milk bags - which they were already experimenting with - could be easily and cheaply adjusted. Changing a one-quart bag to a 1.3-litre bag was relatively painless, so three-quart bags of milk quickly became four-litre bags across parts of Canada. Then the hard plastic used for things like large jugs became cheaper so milk bags started to fall out of popularity in many parts of Canada. Plus, in the 1980s, Brian Mulroney's Progressive Conservative government relaxed rules on metric measurements. The shift took place less as a result of a movement away from plastic bags, and more the attraction of rigid milk jugs according to Dan Wong, president of the Western Dairy Council. Eventually milk bags became unheard of in provinces like Alberta or British Columbia, which is why when people from the western half of Canada travel to points east they're dumbfounded by the general lack of milk jugs.

At 15:57 you are right the grammar is incorrect. Because in English it's "I am eating" and if you translate every word it's "je suis manger" which doesn't make sense in french. The right way to say it is "je mange".
