Getting an ID from the DMV isn’t the real issue here. Sure, having an ID might grant access, but why should anyone have to jump through those hoops just to play basketball in their own community? It’s supposed to be a public space for everyone to enjoy, not something you need paperwork and a membership for. The former owner of that liquor store recently died, he was our landlord too. VERY kind person. Fact check, the skate park was built because before they built the school and gentrified the area a bit there was a set of 6 stairs and a good amount of flat ground and tons I means tons of skaters came out of that park. So that’s why they built the skate park…. The indoor gym I’ve been there many times and never once was asked for id. Just sign in. Last thing, this might ruffle up some feathers but I don’t find it gangster for a “gangster” to put little kids face on camera, to allow them and push them to throw up the set, someone from another hood (which they not that far I know) is gonna see this and remember that kid.
