That The Boyz one knocked my socks off too. It's what I want from kpop boy groups. Epicness, drama, vocals, great MV's. It had all those elements. It did feel like a return to those days of some of the big epic songs and MV's from especially SM like from Exo and some of the earlier NCT stuff. LOVE IT. I'd recommend the album btw, I actually think it's has a couple of songs that would be just your vibe and there's a song called Bite Back everyone has been going crazy over because they have been performing it for months already.

It's really interesting that Trigger reminded you of 3rd gen (and exo specifically), because I had the same thought - but to me it sounds a lot like SuperM (the little chant post-chorus reminds me a LOT of the "let me see you bounce" in Jopping, the entire chorus is just epic-like like Infinity etc). When it comes to the album I feel like you'd really like Slip Away and Re-Wind (and probably They See Me Dream as well), I 100% agree that their vocals are very much underappreciated!

WAIT UR SO RIGHT about The Boyz sounding like Exo. I was wondering why their newest song felt so familiar and epic to me like I’d already heard something like it but you’re right it’s like Monster!
