There used to be many more pubs on the Brampton Mile. It's a bit of a shame, but still a good destination for a pub-crawl! Love and peace.

Micropubs originated in Kent .The oldest micropub is the Butchers Hook (formerly a Butchers surprise surprise) in Herne Bay. The guy who opened it and is therefore credited with coming up with the entire concept is called Martin Hillier. He has founded a website to advise people on how to open one and record where they are located nationally as there are now as know hundreds. However I think the largest concentration remain in the beautiful county of Kent.
