This prayer is very frustrating. I cannot speak in tongue I cannot be filled with holy Spirit coz I need to be delivered first. Asking to be fortified becoz the way is long... is not encouraging 😮 at all.

Keep going keep praying in your given language read the Psalms. Go to the playlists for the deliverance prayers. And ask, and when you receive,say thank you Holy Father.

Hey beloved, I just want to encourage you that there is power in our words and we will have whatever we say. Do not get discouraged, believe God to help you stay consistent in prayer and believe God to give you your prayer language. Just pray and ask: "Lord, I desire to be filled with the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I believe you are able to give me this gift therefore fill me oh Lord" and then just receive it by faith..

If I may, you don't need to be delivered to receive the holy ghost, the evidence of speaking in tongues. It is a Gift for all believers of Jesus Christ. Speaking in tongues is not a requirement for salvation. Acts 2:1-13: The Holy Spirit descends on the apostles and they speak in tongues in Jerusalem at Pentecost. 1 Corinthians 12:30: Paul says that not everyone speaks in tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:39: Paul says, “Do not forbid speaking in tongues”. Mark 16:17: Christ tells the apostles that they will speak in tongues as a sign of those who believe in him. Acts 10:46: The household of Cornelius in Caesarea speaks in tongues. Acts 19:6: A group of men speak in tongues in Ephesus after receiving the Holy Spirit. Jesus foretold of speaking in tongues: “And these signs will follow those who believe… they will speak with new tongues.” Mark 16:17. The first time anybody spoke in tongues was on the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out on the apostles, as related in Acts 2:1-12. Desire to speak in tongues. Ask and receive. Pray earnestly. Holy Spirit speak to you child who is seeking to draw closer and learn of Christ Jesus. May yourvways known.
