Once again, you're not hearing what you're listening. Mdot did not say "We are bouncing on chains of foreign exchange". Rather, he said "We're bound to the chains of foreign exchange", teaching us our devalued cedis is always at the mercy of the dollar & the other superior foreign currencies whenever we trade with them. Rap is poetry, hence you just can't hastily conclude a writer's lyrics are wrong unless you judge his work out of context. You can only get his message when you appreciate Sark's verse in his line of reasoning. On "Mr. Preacher, please do me a favour; stop using the microphone since the devil is a hater". Preachers, biblically, are supposed to be carriers of full truths. However, the problem we face in Ghana is that these preachers always present the devil as a hater to us, which is partially true but in the other part, there are hidden lessons we can learn from him for us to succeed. So he alludes this to his preceding line "the voodoo magic is NOTHING EVIL, the white use it and claim it's logic...". So even though the whites (devil) are deceivers, if we would look at the other side of their inventions( which they always lie to us about), we would catch their secrets and emulate their works. In conclusion, that line was a cheeky one to the preachers who, 24/7, lead their followers in prayers, killing & whipping the devil (which is a biblical allusion to the whites), that if the opposer is always seen as a hater, then quit using the microphone ( mics, tv's, radio and now some quarters of the preachers say the impending 5G technology from the whites is a devilish work) produced by them since the folks who brought the bible down to you are the same ones who captured us into slavery & the mic you preach through.
