I feel your pain mate. I rebuilt a 5.4 V8 supercharged AMG engine a couple of years ago spending thousands only to lose the block due to a stupid mistake. I'll see that car run again if it kills me. I know you'll get to the bottom of it, keep the faith ;)

Wow I know how this feels I’ve had problems with my water system on my 2006 2.5 crafter for the last two years and have changed everything connected to the water system I can think I just think that modern Diesel engines are made terrible because of the omissions parts ie PDF Filter and the EGR Cooler I think these just play HAVOC with the engine ! I would love to find a reliable alternative engine to replace any of the German ones ! Good luck with it hope your back up and Running Soon

I total agree we are f@!ked going forward euro 6 engines are shocking! I would love a 2.5 over this golf engine that's in mine Your right they focus to much on emissions that building a reliable engine the quality of the machining on the original head was poor and we that's my brother and the guys at the workshop and myself think thus is what ultimately led to the head gaskets blowing We are a little behind with our video the van is back together and running as it should after 1000 miles and camp quirky 😁 Thanks for the comment 👍

The engine videos are of the basic servicing on them There’s more in-depth by the polish lads but there not easy to follow I’ve done a few basic ones in the past and they have had big views

I feel your pain chap ☹️ I've been a mechanic for over 30 years and i hate working on my own motors 😭 i allways get stressed and think it's all going to go wrong ☹️ Fortunately i have a great mate who's calm and collected and been a mechanic for 50 years and keeps my head from exploding. Hopefully it's just a sensor or something 🤞keep the faith brother 👍

What a nightmare mate, I really feel for you on the upside at least you have a mechanic brother that can help, I have the same van 2014 MWB with 125k on the clock, thankfully touch wood I have not one single problem apart from a warning light for a blown headlight bulb in the 4 years and 60k I’ve owned her. I’m just waiting for everything to go at once 😩 Good luck I’ve no doubt she’ll be up and running soon 👍

Crafter sprinter ? Crafter and sprinter is two different brand.

They are two models marketed by two different brands👍 they are 90% the same shell vehicle so we use both in the titles as most of what we do can be done on both models thanks for your comment I hope this clears up why we use both models Which do you have Carsten?
