Why does everyone think Kendrick is saying Drake is a deadbeat? He is saying Drake don't know nothing about being a man, moving with integrity, or growing up and THEREFORE he couldn't know anything about raising his son to move with integrity, to stand for something, and so on. You don't need to know what kind of father someone is to assume that he can't teach his son about something he doesn't appear to know for himself.
@SergoBermuda
@SergoBermuda 6 ай бұрын
So basically not only is he a deadbeat but even if he wanted to be a good dad he isn’t capable in terms of maturity, humility, and spiritually.

1. When I realized what song he was playing at the beginning, to be honest, folks don't realize how he already won. , I dropped my phone because this song is the equivalent to the beginning of Pac's, "Hit em Up" start of, "That's why I f$%÷d yo' b!+@&". 2. Clearly, the name of the song in and of itself is a HUGE, apropo dis; the old hood addage of, "Let your haters be your motivators". Lol 3. I haven't even gotten to the lyrics yet and Im still unpacking all this. Lawdhammercy

Kendrick whisperer here 🙋🏾‍♂️ It’s not just about being biracial and having a white mom - J.Cole has the same DNA ~ it’s about Drake being born and raised in CANADA 🇨🇦 He doesn’t have the same heritage experience as those of us who are Black Americans. Nigga is OUR word. It’s a cultural respect thing. I’m sure some will say “Drake’s father is a Black American.” But Drake has referenced in several songs his father wasn’t in his life like that. He only spent like a summer in Memphis with him or something like that. Therefore, when it’s relevant for him to play Black American kayfabe - he does, and thus uses the N word to double down on his downness with Black American culture. And as Kendrick says…. It’s cringy and a very critical type of appropriation. ALL BLACK PEOPLE IN THE U.S. CANNOT SAY NIGGA. It’s deeper than many realize. It use to be a topic of debate early in Drake’s career but I suppose listeners have gotten desensitized to it and interviewers stopped bring it up. The truth is, Drake is NOT a BLACK American 🇺🇸 his father is. Drake is Canadian and should stick to using Canadian slang, which is why Kendrick hit him with the Canadian slang in the record, like, “This is what you should be sounding like in your songs. Stop saying nigga, that’s not yours to say - you can’t just claim it BECAUSE who your father is.” Imagine a biracial Black American + Japanese rapper born and raised in Japan saying “nigga” in their songs and tell me that wouldn’t be cringy 🧐

Man y’all know we ain’t ever gonna decide on who and what can say it as an actual race together. You ever been to New York? I seen more Puerto Ricans, Dominicans and even Mexicans in Cali say it. I don’t get it, gotta be atleast half black and born and lived in the u.s? What if homie half black but look white af? Idk that line soft to me cause I know Kendrick didn’t stand on that early in his career when he was still cool with Drake.

The dude is weird. But yeah, ignore everything I put above, and the video that anyone can find on KZbin. In before you say "he was 23 and she was 17." What 23 year old going for a 17 year old is never not weird? Joe budden ain't got nothing to do with the stuff that's been floating around on that guy.

I love this competitiveness that Drake and Kendrick brought back into Hop Hop, because like Dj Envy said everybody was too friendly with everybody for so long that Hip Hop itself has lost it's substance, passion, and competition. That caused Hip Hop genre music to become watered down. This is what we needed. It's been awhile since we had something like this happened. Just like Nas and HOV went at it years ago, and till this day people are still talking about and will forever talk about it. Now it will be the same for Drake and Kendrick Lamar. The problem with Kendrick response is. He said things other rappers and people already said. It wasn’t original. He just said it in a more clever way.

What Kendrick and Ross are saying doesn't have anything to do with genealogy but they feel Drake's not Black culturally. That he appropriates *ninja culture to sell music to *ninjas. It's okay until you start telling us Blacks who have had the Black experience in AmeriKKKa that you're the culture. How is a biracial Canadian child actor gonna tell a *ninja from Compton to pipe down?

Besides the fact that the track was solid💯 I like the fact that Kendrick has now made Drakes show synonymous with himself now by calling the title of the Track "Euphoria". Whenever you think of that word, Kendrick comes to mind at least for now. Along with the fact that the show leans into heavy sexualization of teenagers and The rumor around Drakes love of teenage girls have been prevelant for about 5 years now. But yeah overall the diss was a good 7...Maybe 8 out Of 10. It was solid af. And the fact that he has more in the chamber makes me excited to see whats next.

What’s crazy is THE SHOW “Euphoria” (in which Drake’s an E.P.) was supposed to come back this year but it’s in limbo…probably’ll never air again (R.I.P. Fez)…but K-Dot’s SONG “Euphoria”?? In less than 24 hours, enough buzz to silence a hornets nest!
