This is one of the very few perfect albums of the 90s. No filler, no fat. And of course this song is the best one on the record.

This is indeed my favorite song on the album. ANd that's saying something because that LP is FILLED with great song after great song.

I miss my CD of this from 93, and I am deeply saddened to learn that my music collection from then is now gone. I've been hearing this song in my head for the past few months, and it has a deeper meaning now than it ever had before. It is the perfect song for a romantic estrangement, and oh how it has played in my head these past few weeks.

I've been listening to this song back in early 2023 whenever i'm studying (thanks to that one nice yt playlist). the intro is super memorable so it's easily become one of my favorites. now it's 2024, here i am, didn't expect this song would be so relatable. i just viewed it as like a simple song to study with before, but now it's one of those songs i have cried to. miss them.

I love this song so deeply. Against my will even. I would just dream about it from time to time after I found it in middle school and I just graduated. I still feel like I'm 13.

Kim deal, the guitar player and lead singer for the breeders, was the guitar player and back/kinda lead sometimes for the band the pixies. Kurt cobain was a huge fan of the pixies. He sited the pixies as a big big influence on him. I think the pixies changed a lot of kids back in the late 80s and early 90s and on..when I first the pixies when I was 13 I think it changed my brain. And the way I heard music..nothing was like them..I know that's Said a lot but it's very true. Hearing the pixies for the first time was like hearing purple rain for the first time..just can't ever be heard the same again. Anyway she and black Francis just didn't get along. He was the leader of that band. So she left. She had a twin named Kelly and kelly picked up the bass so she could make music with her sisterKim. Cannanball came on mtv and they were an instant hit. This album proved kim was epic. She and kelly both developed heroin habits and I remember seeing mtv news where they were busted with heroin. Kim eventually got clean..I can't imagine getting off heroin..most don't. Heroin. Even the word is mean. All the alternative grunge boys I went to high school with crushed hard on Kim..both Kim's, gordan and deal. Who can blame them.

If this was a QOTSA song, it would been a classic by now. but this is Breeders, so it's interstellar by all means.

"you loved me before, do you love me now?" " That's something I'd like to ask and something I'd like to know. I miss my love and will continue to miss her, I'd like her to let me know if I should try harder to get her out leave her alone. I'm an idiot when it comes to interpreting these things.

I can dig it man. One of those things. We may know, we may not. The situation doesn't exactly take the sting out of anything, but you have GOT to maintain your character, 90+% of which is composure. I hope she comes back to you. Focus on your work, focus on your strength (the kind that doesn't depend on the deeds of others). I know you didn't ask me, I guess I'm volunteering unsolicited information, but I believe it. Ask Jesus for intercession, and ROCK STEADY.

is this the single version? "the come on back to me" part seems shortened to me... but i´m not sure
@erikliljenwall8185 Жыл бұрын
Nope, album version. If there is one flaw on this album, it’s that some songs feel too short. But then maybe that’s why I never get tired of it.
