Dennis Smith Jr. especially has brought a lot of intangibles to this team with his behind the scenes leadership and versatility he's helped bring. While he's not a top scorer he's contributed as a backup playmaker of sorts, thrown out some assist lobs to Dayron or Claxton, scored an important bucket when Brooklyn needed it, and has played some hard nosed defense.

Dennis Smith Jr and Dorian Finney Smith have brought a lot of defensive intensity to a Brooklyn team that's not been known originally for being a tough gritty defensive team.... They are both hard working blue collar players who bring an intensity and focus to their craft and the "Smith Way" has been very evident in their style of play....

this team gives me cinderella vibes, no huge name superstars yet we play so well and hard as a team, excited to see what we can accomplish, even our ceiling this season is the play-in I'm still happy to witness these young guys grow

They have a very good core, they should keep it together for at least two years and let the stars come to them.

Every loss this year was a dog fight…no blowouts. Brooklyn always gonna have those dawgs that come in to keep up the morale of our starters who don’t play as well as they should *cough cough Mikal and Spencer*

facts, we've honestly overachieved this season, gonna still be a struggle and gonna lose a lot of games but I'm willing to continue to follow this team's growth
