One of your best dives ever. Dive in the harbors and show us the history. During an extremely low tide back in the sixties my dad and I found a barge and large gun shells on the harbor side of Tounge Point.

These were my grandfather's boats. Originally, the Elmer Dailey was my great grandfather's who named the vessel after his eldest son, my grandfather Elmer. When Elmer took over the business, he named one of the vessels for my mother, Priscilla Dailey. From conversations with my grandfather and other family members when I was young, it seemed that much of the business had to do with picking up brass and brass item from Waterbury (The Brass City), bringing this material through the Erie canal system to Detroit. In the Motor City, they would pick up cars and other items to bring down river to NYC and Newark to exchange for goods destined for Bridgeport.
Questions what are those like little strand floating around is that just algae?, Because where I live (in the Carribean) sometimes u find like one of those stuff floating close to the surface of the sea

100 years from now there will be no trace of this wreck on the muddy bottom. The State and our Navy are fools to lay claim to these sites. Soon diving and fishing all the popular wrecks, much less the "touching " and recovery of a plate or brass relic, will be a punishable crime. Say goodbye to wreck diving, goodbye commercial charters, so-long local dive shops...it was fun while it lasted.
