Season 3 had a lot of side plots that were interesting where as the other season the most interesting part was the main love story. That gets boring for me.

I saw the videos of 'a day in the life of' - some part of the crew members on the shondaland channel (REALLY recommend them!), and those help to understand how much goes into filming just one scene. Having seen that its easier to understand why the actors feel like this. For example sometimes they film just one person speaking the whole scene because of the camera angles and the next day or they will film the other person from another angle. Therefore it would be the first time that they see it completed with the whole shebang together. So I think it's an entirely new experience for them. Like they said, they even forgot scenes, probably because the hectic schedule and the long hours.

So, thing is, they have no clue how the final episodes will turn out. The director seems to always do at least 4 takes in different styles/emotions plus there’s always multiple angles… on top of that, they don’t film the scenes in order either. So while our brilliant cast have said all these lines, they don’t truly know what’s coming. Also, I can so relate to Nic and how she ends up watching. I get all misty eyed too and cling to whatever/whoever is nearby, particularly in the super emotional scenes. It’s so nice that Luke is happy to be the shield Nic clings to when rewatching their work & she’s happy to be the shield he clings to when they’re at crowded, public events. It’s super sweet, their friendship.

@@itsonlysound what i really appreciated in how polin was handled is that the show did not make the relationship unhealthily codependent "us vs the world" kind of thing. Their reactions felt very human and realistic, I felt. It also allowed other relationships that were key to Penelope come forward -- especially the one with her mother and her sisters. I loved that Penelope got to stand up for herself and by herself -- with the people who love her supporting her.

Unbelievable. Yet again, Netflix decided to edit out one of the most poignant and touching seconds in this video (@17:22). Nicola and Luke were watching the scene where Colin is pouring out his love for her at the Butterfly Ball. Nicola teared up. I have seen this small clip extraction where Luke looks at Nicola and whispers "you ok?" when he sees Nicola teary. WTH Netflix? Why would you edit this out of your long version? Badly done. Btw... I love this season soooo much. It took me 3 rewatches to get over the lack of obviously happy Polin (which i mostly expected because of the promo tour/a promised honeymoon period) to recognize the magic and depth of this season! The only thing that still bugs me is that we had to endure so much unnecessary Benedict storyline... it added nothing and probably cost us some Polin time, but anyway. Best season ever!!

This is absolutely delightful! The cast hadn’t seen the edited version and didn’t know which takes had made the final cut, so they are genuinely surprised and moved. @@arra584 I love our queen Nicola, however she and Luke did speak about the bedroom scenes and such in other interviews- in the petition that over 65,000 people have signed they stated the following statement (I hope that these many folks were not fooled by what other people have said that they saw at the premieres). Scenes that were cut: -Colin going home with Penelope after he finds her at the modiste, which leads to an angry kissing scene - this was longer than one shown -Polin laying in bed together talking about publishing Colin’s manuscripts - we never saw this one . -Colin whispering sweet nothings to Pen in front of the mirror, kissing her neck and being playful - they did twice . -Long intimate montage in episode 8 (including a scene in which Colin goes 😉 on Pen) we didn’t see this one.
