I saw the videos of 'a day in the life of' - some part of the crew members on the shondaland channel (REALLY recommend them!), and those help to understand how much goes into filming just one scene. Having seen that its easier to understand why the actors feel like this. For example sometimes they film just one person speaking the whole scene because of the camera angles and the next day or they will film the other person from another angle. Therefore it would be the first time that they see it completed with the whole shebang together. So I think it's an entirely new experience for them. Like they said, they even forgot scenes, probably because the hectic schedule and the long hours.

Season 3 had a lot of side plots that were interesting where as the other season the most interesting part was the main love story. That gets boring for me.

Luke Newton ATE the revelation scene! I would give him an Emmy nomination for that 1 minute alone! I've honestly rewatched it so many times because you can really see his heartbreak almost more than his anger. He was teary-eyed and RIGHT when Pen nodded in confirmation that she is LW, his tears FINALLY fell! OMG! And it fits his character so well that he would be more of a crier when angry than raging (like Anthony would be). And his eyes were always glassy when speaking to Pen in anger. Ugh...Luke....the actor that you ARE!

So, thing is, they have no clue how the final episodes will turn out. The director seems to always do at least 4 takes in different styles/emotions plus there’s always multiple angles… on top of that, they don’t film the scenes in order either. So while our brilliant cast have said all these lines, they don’t truly know what’s coming. Also, I can so relate to Nic and how she ends up watching. I get all misty eyed too and cling to whatever/whoever is nearby, particularly in the super emotional scenes. It’s so nice that Luke is happy to be the shield Nic clings to when rewatching their work & she’s happy to be the shield he clings to when they’re at crowded, public events. It’s super sweet, their friendship.

I think what I love the most about these reactions is how you can truly see how much the cast cares about these characters and their stories. @@itsonlysound what i really appreciated in how polin was handled is that the show did not make the relationship unhealthily codependent "us vs the world" kind of thing. Their reactions felt very human and realistic, I felt. It also allowed other relationships that were key to Penelope come forward -- especially the one with her mother and her sisters. I loved that Penelope got to stand up for herself and by herself -- with the people who love her supporting her.

I didn't understand Colin at first, but a month after finishing the season it clicked. He always made jokes to lighten the mood with his family and has a bit of a hero complex, probably as a consequence of the role he took on when his father passed (and when his mom was so depressed). Which is why he jumped at saving Marina and feeling needed by her. Because he's naturally very kind-hearted. And he is always the first one to notice when something isn't well with someone. His travels and writing were never taken seriously by anyone except Penelope, and his family also never thought of him as a grown man with serious pursuits, and he felt like an idiot for being taken advantage of by Marina - only proving his naivety. So, falling for Penelope, to hear her tell him that he's enough - he doesn't need to save her to be worthy of love, it struck him out of his trauma habits to save. Then when he found out that she's Lady Whistledown, it struck the nerve of his travels and writing not being taken seriously, and the Marina situation where he was duped. It took a while for some of us, but looking at Polin now, their relationship is incredibly romantic and intimate considering how deeply they both love.

Honestly this season was so magical. It was for the romantics ❤ Every single character on Bridgerton are just incredible actors, it's amazing to watch them on screen. I'm convinced that the people who didn't like this season are just not the type to read between the lines or appreciate the subtleties of a facial expression, because the actor who plays Colin conveys SO much through his eyes and tone of voice that it tells you the depth of his feelings for Pen without even having to say it. I just loved this season so much! It was so different from the first two!
