I wonder what the difference in price would be if we just bought stuff like the diy'd ones here. You forget to factor in the extras (miniscule though they may be) when you look at your finished products. The cost of the tools used, the electricity/battery used, the man hours consumed. If you were doing it as a business venture these factors would need to be included in the final price. Hence my query...is there a price difference...to go and buy a finished product or create one.

The second project looks like he’s starting with a gasket seal storage bin. Those are way too expensive and useful to be gluing wheels that won’t stay on.
@AttemptedJusticeАй бұрын
“quality bin” so, for a comparative three layer storage drawer set from ikea. made from particle board, you’re looking at about 60-70$ now, we all know particle board isn’t exactly known for its longevity, so i’m assuming by “quality” you mean solid wood, since metal and galvanized steel are usually for the garage. A solid wood chest of drawers, brand new, at a size comparable to the 3 drawer sterilite is gonna cost you anywhere from 200 and up. And sure, you can buy an old damaged one from marketplace or something, but refurbishing wood furniture requires entirely different, and way more expensive tools than decorating a plastic bin. let people enjoy nice things without breaking the bank
