Happy to see that you share a hunt that was a complete success other than not taking an animal. That is a very real reality in hunting, even in AK. Solid work out there! 💪🏼

He went on a stone hunt with his bow as well a couple of years back and did not fill his tag on that either but shared an incredible video of the hunt.

Great video! Really brings back all the memories of chasing Sheep in the Mountains of Alaska. Many unsuccessful hunts, but also the successful ones that made it all worthwhile! It''s a next level hunt for sure!

Looks like you’ll have a good selection of rams next year if you can make it. That sums up sheep hunting! Hard to find a legal stone ram in bc too! Always a bit short or just not confident on age

Almost as good as being there. Due to physical restrictions, watching these videos is about as close as I'll ever get to being on an actual hunt of this type. The scenery is amazing.

Awesome video! Eating tags is definitely part of it. Curious on why you stay with the 6900 over the 7900 that so many people are switching to?

Remi, I'm assuming you have a training regiment?? You should do a video one day about training for a hunt like this. I mean you do some pretty gnarly shit man so obviously you've got to be and stay in great shape. I'd like to hear how you do that.
@tbabajan10 ай бұрын
I don’t know him but he’s constantly out hiking with heavy packs at elevation. I don’t think he really needs to train before hunts. He’s just got a type of grit most people don’t have.
@nathansarizonaadventures10 ай бұрын
He talks about Mountain Tough fairly regularly on his podcast. Idk if that helps, hopefully it does.
@Hfmt10 ай бұрын
I don’t know why people look for glorified training regiments to get in shape. It’s not that hard to be in great shape if you just train consistently. Go run. Go hike the mountain. It’s not that complicated bro

Yoi can be in the best shape but if you are not ready to toughen it out you will not get there. As tough as you are you will still be in pain

Just wondering how you would get everything wet. Would you not always keep one set of dry clothes in a plastic bag as well as your sleeping bag also in a plastic rubbish bag? Even in the event that it's pissing down you would be able to retreat to your tent and put on the afore mentioned clothes and sleeping bag and then get warm?

The self-control sheep hunters have to do all of that work just to come up a quarter-inch short and not be able to pull the trigger... admirable is an understatement.

That’s crazy how hard it is to find a legal ram. Your average hunter couldn’t even get in there to get a ewe 😂. If remi couldn’t find and shoot a legal ram then I don’t know who could have in that area
