Favourite? Oooohhh...... I'm in agreement with Joby. There's something very special about this era of 🇯🇵 motors. Even the humble Datsun 100A has a special place in my heart although you're unlikely to find one these days.

The word "lotus" does have a latin origin, so on that basis I'd say loti would be acceptable. It sounds weird tho, kinda like an inappropriately placed winsor knot. Edit to add, it actually has a Greek origin but it got to English through Latin.
