As an engineer I can confirm all that was said here, additional fun fact: steel has a fatigue limit, if its never subjected to any stress above its fatigue limit it will never suffer fatigue or fatigue related breakage, sadly zinc does have such a limit so it will always break eventually even if the impact forces are low. This could be mitigated with better designs that reduce stress accumulation points but that takes a lot of time and effort which would make beys too expensive. Have a wonderful day everyone o/

Short version: Metal fight beys were rounder for saftey reasons and so less recoil meanng less Broken beyblades and Beyblade X not only do they spin even faster and they reach reasonably dangerous speeds but it's also because of their designs that are more aggressive meaning more recoil, with all of that combined you get more broken beys. But also people don't seem to realize how fragile metal can be

I’ve personally only experienced breakages with the plastic tabs that hold they blade to rachet. This happened to both my TT knight lance and Viper tail. However at least hasbros molding seems to have addressed this somewhat with curving off the little tabs while I doubt this will solve the problem as a whole or most definitely helps reduce the stress those tiny ass tabs have put on them. So I think it’s very likely that hasbro releases might address more problems at large.

metal fight only exists in the past so it doesn't seem like it broke as much because the only ones we have now are the good ones that lasted. same goes for modern beys but their breakage is in the present so it feels more present. the internet also makes posting about your bey breaking a lot easier compared to telling your friends on the playground your second big bang Pegasus broke already. if you're buying toys where the whole point is to smash bits of metal into each other at high speeds you're probably gonna find them breaking from time to time. there's also the fact that its the adults who know the meta and can actually put power into their launches who's posting about the breakages. breakages suck ass especially when its a design issue but x beys really aren't especially brittle compared to other seasons, especially metal fight.

You should taking in the consideration of people who snipe launch, I swear to god, newbies even people who in the game long enough to around intermediate still use snipe launch as a technique to help them getting better advantage at getting knock out, which is something they should never do when launching a beyblade just to even getting the advantage, that type of launch will give their bey a lot of recoil which will damage it faster, if you want to know why these x beys broke so fast despite a lot of other people like me still have their for more than a year or at least half a year not even broken, there your answer, people really need to learn to be considerate of their stuff. Also, there exception here, Unicorn Sting, Dran Dagger and Dran Sword version 1.0 mold lack filling support at some area which make them notorious to how easy to break they are, so this one is definitely on TT fault, they did later corrected Dran Sword with version 2.0, which widely available in the Hasbro release, which is why you don't ended up seeing report of breaking with 2.0 Dran Sword more than 1.0 Dran Sword.
@bigcheese64174 ай бұрын
I'm not defending them, but I actually think it's kinda sick they break. Especially when beyblade x is the most violent in the series. Should they last longer, yeah ofc it sucks and I'm again, not defending, It's just kinda hype when my hunk of metal snaps your hunk of metal. It wouldn't suck as much if hasbro was up to date with takara tomy in releases and stuff like UX was widely released in the west but it's ok it's not stopping me having fun, if anything its adding to it.
