Just to keep this cleared up, we record the singing separately so we don't have our audio ruined by con-goers. Otherwise, you'd hear screaming and shouting for the whole song! So the actors record the song in a studio, then re-perform it later for video-only. Most of your favorite music videos use the same process, albeit on sound stages and not at conventions! :P

If you go to any anime convention you'll see them everywhere. PMX, where we shot this vid, is known for being a little pony-unfriendly (it's called PACIFIC MEDIA Expo for a reason) and even so all these people were cosplaying ponies.

There are certain videos the beard does not appear in. Fun fact about the first Brony song. We shot, edited, mixed, and exported the video in a day because we told all the performers that we'd show them the cut the next day at our panel. Since the Beard didn't accompany us to AM2, he didn't make it into the panel cut, and therefore didn't make it into the final cut. We then decided the Beard wouldn't show in ANY Brony songs. For consistency.

Watched this early September last year, didn't think much of it at first. Late September I remembered about this song, so I asked a friend if they wanted to see what the fuss is about the show (as a joke originally). I can quite honestly say that it is one of my favourites shows now ^_^

I’m still a brony despite the show being over. In fact was a brony long before that was a thing. I like all the generations except for G.5. Unlike most bronies (but not all) I actually like horses. I’m actually a horse owner. I’m also a writer illustrator of books for children so watching cartoons is a way to learn methods artistic style, storytelling, and to generate ideas.

I have an idea , if all us bronies and pegasisters pitch in and some how get at least a five to ten minuet ad on a big TV channel, we could tell society that the fandom is not just filled with gay and creepy pony obsessive freaks, but rather a diverse group of people and are just as good as any other fandom that is out there. I think that it would have a large impact on how non-bronies see us.
