Since Eso and Kechizu are dead he had nothing to lose and just wanted to avenge them, putting up with whatever bs the curses wanted to do (he clearly didn't wanna be in Shibuya but Yuji was there, so yay). Now he has new purpose - being with his brother. Like he always does. It's just this simple. He sees brother, he protecc. I love this pookie so much for just him appearing on screen. It's nice to see that the animators pushed themselves this much for him. That's admirable and I'll be forever grateful to them because man this episode is so good it literally made me cry...

That mei mei scene is not a case of "oh, anime is so weird". Mei mei is a selfish sorcerer that only focuses on self benefits. Said sorcerer survived and teleported to Malaysia to enjoy the rest of her day, while Nanami, the sorcerer that cares for the people and wishes for a better world, died in the subway, wishing to visit the same spot. She is used as a foil to nanami. She is also used as a foil to Choso. She raised her brother in a way beneficial only to her, he is basically a tool for her to use. Hell, every time she is in a domain, she risks his life. Choso on the other hand would die before he asks his brothers to die for him. Mei mei is a self-centered person who only cares about her self, and that is what sorcerers have to be, to survive in this world.

Damn! This episode sure was a plot bomb. A lot was revealed and some of the pressing questions I had were answered. I knew Mahito was gonna get absorbed, which sucks cause I wanted to see him die already! Mei Mei seems to be fine and Kusakabe is still super relatable 😆 But we get to see him, Uraume and FINALLY Tsukumo Yuki in action. Bout damn time we got back up. I guess there’s a lot to see about Itadori’s background and his connection to Choso. But damn is he goin I’m for his brother, I hope he doesn’t die. Speaking of which where is Todo in all this? And where the hell is Yuta? It’s good that ALMOST everyone has entered the fold and is helping at least. I can’t wait for the next episode cause things are so chaotic and tremendous right now! 🤘🏽
