Great video. I'd like to add in when a group of Jedi from the Old Republic era invited their Padawans to a "graduation ceremony" that ended up being a trap where each Jedi killed their own Padawan, due to a vision of just ONE of their Padawans turning to the dark side. They weren't sure which one, so they tried killing them all as a "precaution." They then frame the one surviving Padawan as the one behind the massacre of his friends and classmates.

Yes…but I think that’s the point of the Jedi in prequels and I think in legends Luke actually realizes the flaws of the old Jedi and tried to correct, he did in canon too…but he fell back into the same old habits as the Jedi of the past 23:37

@@FarisZato no…I just think that aside from Anakin turning to the dark side…their were a bunch of other factors that contributed to the Jedi’s downfall outside of Anakin betraying them…the sith had been planning for the destruction of the Jedi and republic for years even before Anakin was born…palpatine just added him in them because he wanted him to be his new apprentice, he was going to do everything he did in the movies even if Anakin wasn’t around.

The jedi stealing children was NOT only confined to the old Sith wars , Yoda stole Luke and Leia. He decided the fate of the twins instead of delivering them to Padme's family . He took it upon himself to give Luke to a couple of strangers , and gave Leia to his friends. Padme's family SHOULD have been given custody of them . Yoda was trash.

Because *Leia* was raised by different family from the beginning so they were her real family (not the biological one). In secret, the Empire has been looking for those kids ever since their birthday. If Organa's, who's always been in opposition to the emperor, suddenly adopted kid was parading around with Skywalker as a last name, Empire's agents would've realized it's her and kidnapped or killed her. She didn't want to change it because she probably wanted to honor the name of her family, especially after what happened to Aldeeran, ESPECIALLY that she was a politician like her father - Leia was the youngest senator in the Imperial senate. *Padme.* She couldn't have taken on Anakin's name because they were illegal couple. Not just by Order's standards but also she was a head of state. A noble, who surely, couldn't just marry anyone she wanted and things had to be arranged. It would have been a huge diplomatic blunder if it came out. Only small number of people knew about them. Even if she wanted to take the name, she's died right after the childbirth so "there was no time"

What about the full history of clones. Not just Jango clones, buy even the ones we are seeing in bad batch and other possible cline types. Also when they fell and how much Kaminos had to do with it. Full history of Camino as well

I'd add one more to the list: Jedi Master Sifo Dyas colluded with the Kaminoans to create a slave army. While this was done without the knowledge of the Jedi Council, the Jedi would use that army and commission the cloning of more slaves to win the war against the CIS.

Technically they do it’s called the Yavin accord and it was from an unfinished episode of the clone wars. But even in the episode they basically admit no one follows it and treats it as it ain’t a war crime if you win!

Not surprised about the jedi never liked them same as light side and always that dark side not stronger than light side,besides jedi in prequels were more like royalty rather than peace keepers,that's why it's only me but I always liked Sith way more than Jedi 😈,great video 😊👍. P.S. that's why in The Old Republic mmo I always play as Empire Side characters.

The Jedi and the Sith are 2 sides of the same coin that should be tossed in a well, and forgotten. Both philosophies have good points, but still practically miss the mark.

also another reason why the jedi were likely so intense in their collecting of young force sensitives was to keep them not only out of the hands of the sith but all other force orders they knew of so that way they could starve them of new members to continue their force traditions and thus cause them to die out

Undoubtedly the jedi committed some war crimes etc during their time as "peacekeepers" however their crimes pale next to the countless atrocities of the sith, in no way can the jedi be seen as the bad guys in all this
