Thank you for addressing this topic. Far too often First Nations peoples are treated as the passive victims of history. For the life of me I will never understand how the beaver wars and northwest confederacy aren’t more famous.

This channel seems to be exactly what im looking for. i love learning history, but I've always recognized that i dont know a lot of my own history its mostly just the big stuff taught in our school system but i feel like tehres so much more history that just isnt taught for one reason or another.

Great video, I taught my students a bit about the Beaver Wars and I've looked at a good amount of information online but this video is much more in-depth than any other video I found on the topic.

Do you do collaborations? It would be amazing g if you would do a chat with chief Midegah Ogichadaa and go over some of the history and the treaties. I think a lot of Canadians and Americans would change their tune in some regards if they better understood what was promised to the First Nations peoples and how the Government has failed to keep their word.
