And again, a perfect in-depth review, thank you so much for all the series. I'm really waiting the episode on 259 osc. Seriously, in the entire internet there isn't a single explanation presented, and I really wanna know what that symmetry and order knobs are doing. Anyway, thanks again for your work

Excellent video, thank you!! One question: to which scale is the “Random Quantized Voltage” quantized? 12 TET? Are there any quantizers in the Buchla system where you can choose the scale? Thanks!

Oh sorry. About the Alt output ? For Alt Gate out, on the left you get the 1st, 3rd, 5th... Pulse input, on the right out you get 2nd, 4th, 6th... pulse. For the CV output, main output outputs a new CV on each pulse input, alt out left you get a new CV on 1st, 3rd, 5th... pulse, etc. Hope it helps.

Comme toutes les autres vidéos de la série, les sous-titres en français arrivent bientôt. Un petit message un peu plus positif serait vraiment plus agréable, je fais ça bénévolement et ça me prend un temps fou. Ce genre de message un peu rapide et expéditif c'est assez démotivant, même si ce n'était pas ton intention.

Non mais,c'est vrai qu'en relisant ça peut paraitre un peu ,pas sympa mais c'etait pas du tout ds cet esprit là...C'est tout le probleme du langage parlé avec le langage écrit...tout dépend de l'état d'esprit dans lequel tu te trouves qui fait que tu vas interpréter le truc plus ou mins bien;.mais c'est vrai que là,j'aurais pu faire autrement...sorry ,et bravo pour tes vids encore!

Wanted to ask if you can kindly share with me some info … I’m looking get a some 200 series units and I currently have a full 200e system… Can you please tell me if I get the 200 series, 281, 292, 266 and 208 would I gain anything as I ready have the 200e version of them . Is the circuit in the 200 series units all analogue ? If I run audio into the 292 Vs 292e would there be in noticeable differences in sound ? 292e is that all analogue or mixture of AD/DA ?

Hi, I don't know much of the 200e series, but I'm pretty sure that only the control is digital o the 292e. The sound is primarily linked to the vactrols used in the module and it may slightly vary from a module to another. To be clear, I don't think you would gain anything with these modules. If I had a 200e series and wanted some 200 modules, I would go for a 259, a 258 or a MARF. Hope it helps.

Au top encore une fois ! J'ai hâte d'avoir la version de Tiptop en eurorack ne serais-ce que pour un battle avec le Random Sampling de Verbos, probablement mon random préféré, au final loin d'être un simple clone.

Effectivement, on sent que le Verbos est très inspiré du 266 mais il a quand même pas mal de différences avec celui-ci.
