CLASSIC!! Thank god I was smart and recorded hours of this show in the later 80s on VHS. I have it digitized now. ...I am aware that the DVD release doesnt have this amazing closing credit. And the intro is not same either., so I am stoked to have my originals

I saw the syndication package of Rocky & Bullwinkle from The Program Exchange on local syndicated stations, CBS, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Boomerang. They had their own intro that they created, but the end credits were kept from The Bullwinkle Show (1961-1964).

A shame this closing credit sequence wasn't remastered on the DVD releases for seasons 3 to 5... I bet it would've looked really colorful! And since the music was already by Fred Steiner (instead of Frank Cornstock), they wouldn't need to replace it!

The original was recorded in 1961, when the show title switched from "Rocky And His Friends" to The Bullwinkle Show".

Who the heck was Ponsonby Britt?! Oh, never mind; I Googled the name. It was just a thought-up name for a fictional producer that Mr. Ward created. There was no Ponsonby Britt.

Great closing -- the work of talented visual and musical artists. (On the other hand, the "Program Exchange" tag is annoying and trite -- the work of no-talent, moronic graphic peons.
