The Bumblebee Fairy - cause you asked for it! The Monster High/OMG doll repaint

Hi there!
Today I wanna show you the process of making the most requested doll so far - the Bumblebee Fairy!
The family of my striped fairies is getting bigger... and I will be still making one more - can you guess wich one? ;)

Thank you so much! I always mark my videos as "not for children" (mostly because I like to make gore or sexy dolls sometimes), but because this are dolls (and this is youtube) I know that a lot of kids still watch them. I get that the hobby might look easy and fun, so I just feel the need to warn people about what it really is. Still fun... but not that easy and definitely not for unsupervised children :) Not to mention that you are destroying a toy, that is not always the cheapest, so you better have your parent's approval :P

I love literally everything about her! Her hair is jaw droppingly gorgeous, her face is so cute, and her bodysuit is amazing (I highkey want one like that for a halloween costume)! I'm so late 😭!! cannot believe i missed the first release of this - That hair seemed nightmarish to do! but it ended up being so satisfying to look at! and the flower ended up so beautiful, i'm OBSESSED with the colors you used for it - It seems like something i would see in a magic world where all these fairies live - and with how you do the bases, it almost feels like,, some sort of snapshot, or frozen piece in time that a wizard, or mage made, freeszing everything in time to keep the beauty of them still. I think what some people don't understand by the warnings on these channels is that the artist isn't saying you can't do this because you're a child, they're saying be careful, especially if you're a child, and have someone older help you with the more dangerous parts. I helped my grandpa in his garage all the time when I was young (9 or 10 years old), but you can bet he never let me use things like a welding torch, a belt sander, or anything bladed until I was older. Be safe, be sane, be smart. : D

Just discovered your channel, beautiful customs and very calming and enjoyable to watch. Just a suggestion, why not do all the body modifications before all the painting, then you don't have to worry about damaging the face up. Similar to how Dollightful does it.

It would be waaaay harder to grab the doll during the face up. I wouldn’t be able to lay the doll flat. Covering the doll’s face is not a problem ;) Trust me, I thought out the order of my work very thoroughly :) This is working best for me. I know doll figurines makers (Dollightful, even with tons of modifications, is still making articulated dolls that she can lay flat) that are gluing the doll in pose and then making face up, but I just can’t see how it would make my process any easier….. I am totally happy with my way of working :)

@@jean-mariloots4991 Well, your thinking wasn't wrong :) As I said - there are some doll figurine artists that are making their customs in the order mentioned by you. It is just a personal preference, I think :) There are many different ways of doing stuff and you just need to find what suits you :)
