My heart broke when you left in 2014, and my heart shattered last night when I found out you passed in July.. I had shown these guys to my mom a few years ago before she passed. It was one of our bonding moments. The first song I showed her was C'est pas si lion. She fell in love with you guys as well. Maybe she's talking to you now and getting your story. As much as I like most of their other albums, I feel like Food Chain is still at the top for me. The way Matt started incorporating a "punchier" guitar and drum sound in his writing while still maintaining both the unique synths, lyrics and the back-and-forth vocal symmetry he had with Hutka, really sticks out to me, especially in songs like this, 'Cancer', 'Lost', etc.

This type of music IS NOT for everyone, but when I want to come down from all the hate and malice and just relax and appreciate good music (in my opinion) The Bunny The Bear is my go to. My main music is death metal (Whitechapel, Cannibal Corpse, Oceano, Job for a cowboy, ect.) but I can appreciate this music.

Personnaly dude after listening to this new stuff i think bunny should just make his own band or they need to do split vocals again cause ye i know what you mean after listening to whoretopsy, cattle decapitation and dying fetus soft stuff is nice for a change but these guys where like the middle for me kinda like blessthefall soft vocal's with screams but now its mainly all soft vocals
