The Bus | Berlin | Route 200 Update | Mercedes-Benz E-Citaro

Hello and welcome back to The Bus!
We're back in what could be classed as my favourite city on Earth... Berlin! Over the past week there's been an update for "The Bus" where the route 200 has enjoyed a re-route to match the real world equivalent, turning left just after Marienkirche and heading down to Potsdamer Platz that way instead rather than via Brandenburger Tor.
Today we're driving the Mercedes-Benz E-Citaro 18m which doesn't actually run in Berlin, however this route is mainly served by the Solaris Urbino 18m Electrics, which sadly are not yet available on "The Bus", so this will have to do in the meantime!

If they give modders the same level of freedom for this that they have in OMSI then this game could become the go to bus simulator.

I agree but whether they can or not I’m not sure, it’s based on unreal engine.

I think you have to press the enable door clearance button everytime you stop at bus stops to open the middle and back doors so people can get off the bus. Also I wish you could play more with the cockpit buttons as those buttons are clickable (not sure about the function tho).

So the 200 has changed its route now in January? I have some photos taken at the VW forum, my BFFs favorite place to visit when we are in Berlin. I go to the café and he wonders around in VW forum. Looking forward to my next trip to Berlin in June.

It was this way in September 2022 and December 2022, has it changed again? The devs will be losing their minds if that's the case haha :D

@@JoeDobsongaming so this change was done last Autumn :) haven’t been to Berlin since August due to illness (luckily I can get my Berlin through you and your photos and The Bus videos☺️).

I think they are aiming for that to be a feature where you can own your own company but I'm not sure how they're going to implement it.

I really want to enjoy this game but the constant micro stutter has killed the experience, even thou I understand that it is in early access. Hopefully the full version will have those issues ironed out.
