Cannabis companies or dispensaries? I’ve lived in California for awhile. I doubt highly that any cannabis companies are struggling and laying off ‘hard working people’. Any entity dealing in cannabis, makes the other kinda greengage. I agree about taxes. They’re outrageously outta control. It’s between 25-30% combined. Cost prohibitive for folks on disability.

@@hoosierbaddy3052 We pay a total of 45% tax on our recreational weed here in WA and its still 1/3 - 1/4 of the old black market prices. The real concern are corporations and the toxic poisons they will introduce to the process.

@@basic_rnah you’re both wrong I lived in Cali all my life and been smoking for over 15 years the business has changed drastically. Since 2016 in Cali you had dispensaries everywhere and dispensaries being closed everywhere. In 2017 Nevada had almost no dispensaries and the ones they did have got shutdown shortly after. In 2018- 2020 cannabis was booming back in Cali. And now in New Mexico dispensaries are popping up all over the place but also closing. Every state is different but yes you do see more businesses closing instead of opening and lasting.

In today's world and cannabis space, probably not. But you have to understand that this "space" didn't exist back in the day. We are spoiled for choice now, but years ago there wasn't many choices for cannabis and cannabis accessories and these two stoners made something early on that made sense at the time. If you look at the protopipe next to a modern ball vape or dry herb vape, etc., yeah it pales in comparison, but if it wasn't for early devices in the cannabis world paving the way, modern devices wouldn't be where they are today. Evolution and necessity my friend.
