✨Are your prices based off feeling? Or is it based off the numbers? .. Do you ever find your self giving a price quote and you think about “how your back is gonna feel” “if you feel like doing it” “how many times that client canceled on you, so now you want your lick back”??? Being a numbers girl, and being able to type this in a calculator infront of my clients and they have the warm and fuzzy of paying an unjustified number.. and I get the warm and fuzzy that I charged fairly compared to what my “base price” is.

OD = Overdue
y= your max weeks
X= the amount of appointments they would have had
Your rate = what your normally charge

That's not bad that's like 3 months for $259 to maintain her Own hair. That's good Chile these people be out here spending $400-$600 do wigs not including the install . People who go to the salon every 2 weeks or every month spend more. People charging $300 for braids. This is a great price and investment into her naturally beautiful hair.

This is one of the first times I seen a hair dresser do something that I can see people paying hundreds to a thousand dollars for. It’s been ridiculed the lack luster styles and services being rendered for $600-$900 sometimes more and they not even washing your hair😳. But bless your heart because this is a lot 🫶🏽💪🏽🖤

Everything said in this video is why I stopped getting my sister locks retied/interlocked. I now get them retwisted. Standard price every time I go no matter how long it’s been. If I had known this prior to getting sisyerlocks I would not have gotten them.

It is not recommended at all to get them retwisted. So it’s cool that it works for you but that is not ideal for this size. But that’s why I do consultations because I example all the possible cost and scenarios there

@@ClutchNLoc luckily my new retwist loctician is also a licensed cosmetologist and was able to first assess my hair to avoid breakage and damage. I have had no issues and the cost is amazing! I tip her so well because it’s been such a life saver. Eventually Sisterlocks will fade out. The cost and inconvenience are not the end goal for most locked women.

Greedy…these greedy stylists always talking about how their time is money…well what about the client’s time..? All cost of services should be included..you know you will do more than just wash and dry on a client with locs, natural coiled or long and thick. These stylists make it seem as if they are penalizing the client and charging them extra for having product build up or the type of hair they have. The client shouldn’t have to pay extra for a shampoo to get rid of product build up..isn’t that what shampoo is for.. They just gotten waaay to greedy trying to justify squeezing every dollar outta their clients for doing what is necessary to provide adequate service.

It’s crazy, I’m greedy but she tipped me an additional $35 even with the price increase 😂😂😂😂 Her service took me 1-1.5 hours over which in turn pushed back my whole day and I had FOUR more clients after her. Clients should be shampooing and separating their hair at home. But I understand life happens… I regular shampoo doesn’t consist of me shampooing 6+ times, SOAKING the hair, and separating the roots over and over to clean the scalp. All that extra shampoo is money, all that time I spent on her shampoo made me late for other clients and thank goodness they understood but I had to give them FREE products for the inconvenience. It may seem greedy to you because you aren’t a stylist I’m assuming and you aren’t my client nor my target client….

The woman in that chair isn't rich by any means or she wouldn't allow the stylist to film her while she complains about what a hard job it is and why she has to pay double the already inflated price

A Hooded hair dryer would speed up that base drying time which makes mid shaft to end quicker to dry using a hand dryer.

1. I’m not greedy I’m getting paid for my time. If one doesn’t want their price to be more then they know when they need to come for their maintenance. 2. If you wanted the video, she was 11 weeks not 8 weeks so I’m not sure how you got that she was paying this price at 4-8 weeks. To add, the normal time from is 4-6 weeks, however I do 4-7 week.. I give a whole extra week of wiggle room but I’m greedy? lol 3. Lastly, hair and nails are a luxury. And YOU are the customer. And the beauty about being the customer / consumer is you get to choose who you spend your money with.
