Soooo nostalgic! I was only allowed "good Christian" movies at my grandma's, so we had these movies. It was always; Babes In Toyland (80s version), Buttercream gang and secret of treasure mountain, and Rigoletto 😂

@@mcvideoarchives Before bringing in the actors, they first had to decide how many people would be in the halls at the time (because they had two other scenes they were filming that day so they had plenty). Then how to pace us walking. *They each had a stand in who made $105 to walk the path the actors would be walking… to prevent shadows or people standing in front or bumping into them.* Once they had us figured out with the stand ins, *the actors did a run through* which wasn’t filmed, because the director was saying: 👤🗯️ You’re walking, look at each other, you’re talking about snow cones 🍧 CUE MARGARET and then you bump into her then we cut on the paper drop. 🎬 At that point because of the direction of the camera following me and others going down, then them coming up there was no need for too many adjustments. So I remember it was only 5 to 10 takes TOTAL. They did the closeups of the bump and papers dropping then the conversation. *But by those lines “I” was outside and walking to either “my next class” or maybe “I had a half day” so “I” wouldn’t have been walking behind “them”.* Which was interesting because I asked the assistant director “Why are they coming in as I’m going out? When is *this* ?” The person very kindly said “You got checked out of school to be here today, right? … Maybe that’s what *you’re* up to. But you wouldn’t be coming back in which is why we won’t have you walk by when we switch camera angles.” They also said *”What’s cool is you’ll be close enough to the camera that we’ll for sure see you longer than the other extras even though your back is turned.”* 😃

Christians always trying to shove loving your neighbor and doing good out of love for him and them by listening to Jesus instead of expectations of saving yourself and being a god with no God greater than self. Christians say love God who is only good and because of your love for him love others don’t do things that harm you or others as that’s sin. If God is so good why doesn’t he force himself on everyone and make us all perfect slaves? Why do people need to choose and suffer consequences if they choose self? If those with Faith experience, God, why can’t those without faith experience God? Or more so if you can experience God while you’re alive, why is it supposedly that if you reject him in death, you can’t continue experiencing the good of him?

I only lived there for like 5 months but I remember the kids and teachers used to always say they liked how I talked lol. I remember one teacher stopped me while I was reading out loud in class name Mrs P. And she was like omg I love your accent. I had no clue what that ment and later asked my dad and he said it's cause I'm from Michigan and I talk different then they did. Definitely alot of Mormons and I was a bad influence to them kids lol.

My parents got it as some sort of monthly movie subscription to Feature Films for Families back in the early 2000's, along with others like Rigoletto, No More Baths, and Mel the Sea Turtle.
