The storyline set in the early 1940s of Turkey, revolves around two good friends, Rustu Onur and Muzaffer Tayyip Uslu, who make a living out of publishing their poems at a time when life appears hard with the World War II in its full swing across the world. The story takes a turn when both fall in love and life changes for them trying to survive against social class system and religious barriers of the time, which jeopardizes their love life, their friendship and their profession.

I agree! His vocabulary is impressive and his syntax with longer sentences is amazing! I first started learning turkish when I was 15 and I must admit that considering it's been ten years, when it comes to longer sentences with a variety of tenses and subjects I get lost sometimes lol All respect goes to Kivanç because I know English can be a headache for those whose first language is Turkish.

Un rol in care pur si simplu Kivanc "s-a transformat" in acel tanar poet, cum te "cocoseaza" suferinta, viata o arata cu talentul lui acest om care munceste enorm pentru fiecare rol. Din biografia romantata a lui , am vazut ca a avut o relatie cu o profesoara de actorie, a fost un elev constiincios si acum se vad roadele! Din pacate sotia lui nu ne place, sa nu mai apara , sa-si vada de hainele ei, sa-l lase "liber" , sa straluceasca el! 😊

BelieberGurl Define 'a lot of people'. I have many well-educated cousins in Istanbul. One of them has even been working for Turkish Airlines, since her uni-graduation. She was the best in her English class and not even she could compete with Kivanc's skills. Not to mention the others. Turkish school education doesn't really include foreign languages. BUT when it comes to maths, Turkish students are one of the best.

They don't find it relevant to study different languages since they are understood by everyone. Most Turks speak Turkish only, and that's it. Not a very popular language.
